Delicious fresh Swordfish at Nico's Pier 38.  Love this place, but as with all restaurants in Hawaii it is getting expensive to eat lunch out.  The Swordfish was $28 and lunch for 6 people was over $200.  Kim Che and Ahi Poke are super fresh and good but Foodland Poke 

delivers more flavor.

Enjoyed a great business lunch at Nico's despite the Fresh Fish Plate now costing $31.

Fish was fresh and the Poke here is really good too.

Enjoyed a great business lunch at Nico's.  Our guests were from Italy and have never been to Hawaii.  Wanted to feed them some local Hawaii flavors and fresh fish.  Nico's was the perfect place!

Crazy but in all my years going to Nico's, this is the first time ever having dinner here.  I didn't know the place had dinner service where waiters take your order.  I am used to the lunch service where you order at the counter and then pick up your food.  Our waiter was fantastic and the appetizers and entrees came out in what seemed like record time.  I loved the Soft Shell Crab Bao Buns with Lettuce and Tomato.  Really good but the Bao Bun really fills me up.  Didn't get why they call the Ahi Dip "angry".  Didn't seem to have a lot of flavor or heat.  Thought the Poke was a bit bland.  Calamari was perfect.  Everyone loved the Steamed Clams.  The Orange Chicken packed a bunch of flavor and could be addicting. For the entrees, I went with the Swordfish with Truffle Butter Sauce.  The fish was a bit overcooked and dry.  The Truffle Butter Sauce was thick like gravy and did not have a lot of Truffle flavor.  The Swordfish with Peppercorn Sauce was better.  The Ama Ebe was a hit with the Shrimp being sweet.  Ended the meal with five desserts and believe me, I tried them all.  All were good especially the Cheese Cake, Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cake.  I liked the outdoor seating which is dog friendly here. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the great weather.
