Opened in 1483, the Sistine Chapel stands as not only the Papal Chapel but also as one of the greatest art treasures in the world. We were granted VIP access through Viator.com that took us inside the Sistine Chapel after hours when the crowds had left. Our small group of maybe 8 people were left inside the Chapel for 45 minutes alone with only security guards and a few workers. This experience was amazing. To have this opportunity to view the space without the crowds was truly remarkable and worth every penny that we spent to book this private tour. This is a jaw dropping experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
