Traded my four 6th row season tickets for two courtside tickets to University of Hawaii Basketball vs UC Davis.  I am telling you, once you sit courtside it spoils you.  I really don't want to go to any games unless I can sit on the court now.  Gives you a totally different perspective when you can see the players faces, emotions and physical play.

Nice to get a few perks at the University of Hawaii.  One of my favorites are the courtside table seats for Wahine Volleyball.  Absolutely the best seats in the house and they come with access to a hospitality suite just off the court.  The suite includes complimentary food and a no host bar.

Enjoyed some really great court side seats at the University of Hawaii vs Nevada Basketball game.  Started the evening in the Ed Wong Suite which is court level just steps from the court.  Enjoyed a few beverages and light snacks which on this night were Chinese Noodles and Egg Rolls.  Absolutely loved our baseline seats which let you see and hear the game in a totally different perspective.  Amazing to watch the Nevada Coach going crazy, cursing and getting so mad at his players.  Guy is nuts.  Loved watching players on the bench.  One of Nevada's players was really funny.  He would say things to the Hawaii players like; "don't worry you're losing - you live in Hawaii.  Its ok".  While we did not win the game, we surely enjoyed the evening and great seats.

The Stan Sheriff Center is great.  Perfect sized multi-purpose arena located on the campus of the University of Hawaii.  The 10,300 seat arena was built in 1994 and is home to our Mens and Womans Basketball and Volleyball Teams.  There is really not a bad seat in the house here but the best seats are on the floor and on this night we were lucky to have them.  Court Side seats come with access to the Ed Wong Hospitality Suite which is located just steps from the basketball court.  The Hospitality Suite is open to VIP Guests about one hour before the game and during half time.  While the Suite includes a small bit of food you must pay for your beer or wine.  Believe me it is worth it to fork over a few bucks for beer when you have seats like this.  The food in the Ed Wong Hospitality Suite is nothing to write about.  On this visit they served Wontons and Spiced Chicken that I really did not like.  I was craving a hot dog and was denied.  You can however walk upstairs and purchase food or drinks from all the vendors.  I chose to hang in the Suite which is so comfortable.  So comfortable in fact that time flies and before you know the game is starting.  With cold beer in hand we left the Suite and walked a few yards to our oversized cushioned seats which were right on the basketball floor.  What a way to see a game.  Right in front where you can see, hear and feel the action.  My daughter was "in the game" from start to finish rather than burying her face in her IPhone.  She actually watched the game, commented on the plays and cheered loudly alongside her dad.  This was a special experience that I will never forget.  The Bows beat Cal Poly on this night and the players and coaches were thrilled.  We were pretty happy too sitting court side
