I had never heard of Broke Da Mouth Grindz in Kona but a co-worker said he had to go here. Evidently this place got a cult like following after being featured on the Food Channel and Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. They are well known for the Furakake Chicken which two people ordered and loved (I failed to get a photo). I ordered the Spicy BBQ Chicken and they said they were out for the day. This was right when they opened too. I decided to go with the BBQ Beef Bul Go Gi with sides of Corn and Cucumbers. The Beef was good. A bit too sweet for my liking. I hated the Cucumbers and did not care for the corn. Gave it all away. This place is super hot (no air conditioning) and is part takeout and part t-shirt shop. Not gonna dog this place but want to go back and try some different dishes. Staff was friendly but it does take a little while to get your food.
