Made it back to Street Burger on Kauai and was not disappointed. Once again was blown away by the Texas Poutine Fries and Cheeseburger. The Poutine Fries are topped with meaty Texas Chili, Cheese, Fried Onions and a Poached Egg. So delicious but makes it hard to eat more fries that come with your burger. I ordered the standard Cheeseburger and loved it. Took a bit of work to get the burger in my mouth. Pretty thick with the beef, lettuce, tomato and onion. I told myself I would only eat half of the burger but it was so good I kept taking more bites. Told myself I would not eat any of the fries that came with the burger but they were so good that I kept picking at them.

STREET BURGER - KAUAI

Readers of my blog know that my favorite burger in the World is In N' Out Burger. For $2.70 they are my fave and the best value on the planet. Paying over $10 for a burger never sits well with me but like everyone else I try them. I understand the cost involved in serving good and fresh food in Hawaii and always want to support local business. Loved the fact that Street Burger uses 100% Kauai raised and grass fed beef. With that said I can say that Street Burger serves up some of the best burgers I have tasted in all Hawaii. The burgers are large, fresh and very tasty. I went for the Cheeseburger ($14) which is served with a large pile of fries. The burger was sky high with fresh Tomato, Lettuce and Onions. We started our meal with the Onion Rings ($7) which were devoured by our table. The batter was light and the onion is sliced very thin. Maybe too thin for me. The Texas Poutine Fries ($14) was the super star of what we tried here. Our entire party of five people went absolute crazy over these fries which are covered in a thick Texas Chili, Cheese and a Poached Egg. These Fries are the BOMB and must be tried if you eat here. One bowl was enough for all of us so the $14 price tag was not bad. Everyone liked the food here and the service was excellent. If you are craving a burger on the Island of Kauai, Street Burger would be by recommendation.
