Enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. Nice clean hotel with a great daily breakfast buffet and good service. It is on a small island about 15 minutes by boat to St. Marks Square. As with all of Venice you need to plan trips around the taxi boat schedules which the hotel provides or you can get a private taxi boat which can be very expensive.

LUFTHANSA AIRLINES - LOS ANGELES TO FRANKFURT

Lufthansa is one of our favorite airlines. The service and food seems always to be better than the U.S. airlines and this flight proved that again. This was one of the smoothest and most comfortable flights ever. The great staff had the well stocked beverage cart with a nice variety of wines strolling through the isles and between services was walking through the isles with a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine to keep everyone refilled without asking. Somehow at 10 hour flight seemed like just a few hours. Little touches like a seat cushion, sleep shirt and travel bag were nice too.

UNITED AIRLINES - HONOLULU TO LOS ANGELES

The United Airlines First Class service from Honolulu to Los Angeles is more like Coach Plus with a bit larger seats that do not recline that far. The typical United breakfast was served which is pretty unimpressive. Service on this flight was not bad and pretty basic.
