Another day working in Kona and another lunch at Patricio's. Last few times here the food has not been as good as before. On this visit I had two Beef Tacos which by the time you eat them are soggy and falling apart. The Carne Asada Burrito was pretty good but it cost over $15. The two Tacos were $12. This is pretty basic Mexican food but this is Kona.

This Patricio's takeout was pretty terrible. The Beef Tacos were soggy and fell apart and they seemed smaller than previous orders. The Chicken Taquitos had no flavor and I only ate one. Love their Salsa though which is smoking hot. Could not believe that Chips and Salsa cost $9.

I have had good visits here so won't write this place off yet.

When visiting our Kona warehouse, I like to enjoy some Mexican food from Patricio's which is not far from the office. I like the Crunchy Beef Tacos with lots of their hot sauce. The sauce is HOT and I mean really hot. Tasty...hot and addicting. The Tacos are a bit small but three come with the order. Recommend you eat them at the restaurant or quickly after delivery and they can get mushy and lose their crunch.

Lunch at Patricio's in Kona was excellent. Loved the Crunchy Beef Tacos and Carne Asada Taco. The Hot Salsa packed some heat which I liked. The Guacamole here is also excellent. Didn't think the Crunchy Tacos with Ground Beef would be good as I prefer Shredded Beef which they do not offer. Ground Beef was really good. The Crunchy Tacos could use some cheese though. Beans and Rice were pretty good too.

Another quick lunch while on the run in Kona. Patricio's is near our new warehouse so I can eat some decent Mexican food for lunch. I get the Carne Asada Burrito with no beans or rice and then eat all the inside and leave the tortilla to stay low carb. Totally filling and satisfying without the carbs. Found that I like using a combination of the hot and mild sauces to make the perfect heat level for my taste.

Back to Patricio's on a Friday during Lent. This means no meat for me and the Wife so we ordered Fish Tacos and Shrimp Tacos at Patricio's. Probably would not order any of these again as the Fish Tacos were mostly breading and very little fish. Shrimp Tacos very bland. Stick to the meats here. I love the Carne Asada and will be back for that.

Opening a new warehouse in Kona so I have been going there quite often. Last week I ate at Patricio's and loved the Carne Asada Burrito. On this visit we were not eating meat so I went for the Fish Tacos and my Wife went for Shrimp Tacos with Beans and Rice. Of course we started with the delicious Tortilla Chips and Salsa which you need to pay for but it is worth it. The Fish Tacos were just ok. There was not much fish but the Pico de Gallo, Sauce and Hot Sauce were good. Wife did not say much about the Shrimp Tacos but she finished them both.

I want to go back when we can eat meat and try the Taquitos, Enchiladas and more Tacos.

Quick work trip to Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii so we stopped into Patricio's for a quick lunch. Loved the fresh Chips and Salsa and Carne Asada Burrito with Avocado. Delicious food with really good service. The waitress gave us some extra Hot Sauce and it had the perfect heat and flavor to go with the Burrito.
