KINCAID'S FISH, CHOP & STEAKHOUSE

KINCAID'S FISH, CHOP AND STEAKHOUSE
HONOLULU, HAWAII

Had an expensive but great lunch and Kincaid's in Ward Warehouse.  This Hawaii landmark overlooking the Wharf and now a homeless tent village serves up great food at a bit higher prices than I would prefer.  A good lunch here will run you around $16-25.  My business associate went for the Wedge Salad ($8).  Two nice wedges of iceberg lettuce topped with bacon and cheese.  Served with a really good Deviled Egg and your choice of dressing.  We both went for the Balsamic which was delicious.  My friend enjoyed the Grilled Citrus Chicken ($8) along with the salad.  He said it was the "perfect" lunch.  I could not resist trying the Steak and Crab Sliders with Bernaise Sauce ($16).  I chose a Wedge Salad in place of the French Fries.  The Wedge was awesome and the Sliders were the "Bomb".  One was a little chewey, but the flavor of the sauce, steak, crab and bread were delicious.  Kincaid's is a great place if you have some extra cash or a friend in town with an expense account.  I would recommend their Happy Hour for great Pupu's and great prices and lunch if you want to splurge. http://www.kincaids.com/page/home

KINCAID'S FISH, CHOP & STEAKHOUSE

KINCAID'S FISH, CHOP AND STEAKHOUSE
HONOLULU, HAWAII

Just prior to the Djou debate on KGMB, we joined our good friends for pupu's at Kincaid's.
What a great choice this was. The food and service were excellent and during Happy Hour, many of their appetizers are heavily discounted. The House Wine is on $4 per glass too.

We started with the Ahi Poke ($7.50) served with cucumber and sprouts. This was fresh and delicious. The Calamari ($7) was also good. The Terriyaki Beef Tenders ($7) is a meal. Served with rice and very filling. The biggest surprise was the Chicken Wings ($7). These meaty little wings were FANTASTIC. Full of flavor and good spice. That is right. Spicy Chicken Wings that are actually spicy. Most restaurants serve Spicy Wings but they have no kick. The Kincaid's Wings have kick and most of all flavor. These could be the best wings in town. I am going back specifically for these wings. Everyone at the table agreed that they were great. I really like Kincaid's for cocktails and pupu's. I think the Happy Hour only runs Monday - Thursday.
