I love the Spaghetti Bolognese at Margotto Hawaii and crave it now.  Decided to improve on my version of the sauce and cooked up this delicious batch that really hit the spot.  Wife loved it so I know it was good!

Enjoyed a delicious Pasta Bolognese last weekend at Margotto Hawaii.  Thought I would try to make the same dish at home.  Gotta say, mine came out pretty darn good.  Wife loved it!

Went off the low carb diet for this delicious Spaghetti Bolognese.  So good that I actually had seconds which is very rare.  Loved this!

Love a simple Spaghetti with Meat Sauce.  Added a little Onion, Bell Pepper, Mushrooms and lots of Garlic to this batch.  Yummy!

I love Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and this dish delivers on flavor and can be eaten for a week.  I used Ground Beef and Ground Pork along with lots of Garlic, Carrots, Bell Pepper, Celery and Oregano.  Topped with Fresh Basil and Italian Parsley from our garden and grated Parmesan Cheese.  Yummy!

My Daughter absolutely loves Prosciutto Wrapped Melon.  When this plate hit the table she asked if was all for her.  If I didn't grab one all would have been gone in minutes.  This is a light, fresh and delicious appetizer that is so easy to prepare.  Just wrap the Prosciutto around melon or pears and its done.  For the main course I made my Spaghetti Bolognese with Ground Beef and Italian Sausage.

My lovely bride cooked up some really good spaghetti with meat sauce.  Pasta was perfectly al dente and the meat and sauce were packed with flavor.  This is a simple dish that the entire family enjoys.

Last time we visited California Adventure Park we saw a nice looking Italian Trattoria that we did not have time to try.  This time during a rain storm we stopped in to sample the food.  We were greeted professionally and seated quickly on the outside covered patio.  Our waitress quickly arrived with fresh warm bread infused with herbs and a Child's Starter Plate that was complimentary.  The Platter included cheese, grapes and carrots.  We started with the Rustic Brushetta ($6.99).  This was a delicious appetizer that I would order again.  I opted for the Spaghetti Bolognese ($16.49).  Pasta was mushy and sauce was a bit bland.  The Broccoli Tagliatelle ($13.99) was much better.  I was shocked at the price of a glass of wine here.  ($14.50).  They recommend the wine with the pasta dish but do not put the price on the menu.  I was amazed when the check came and saw how much the wine cost.  This was an expensive lunch but was worth it rather than eating the burgers and dogs served at the park.  The staff was very pleasant and the environment despite the rain was nice.
