UNITED AIRLINES - CHICAGO TO HONOLULU

United was United once again.  Mediocre service and horrible food.  Crazy how much you pay for First Class and don't get first class service or food.  Never seems to change.

As stated in previous posts, United has really improved their game when it comes to service.  From the mobile app, to the text and email updates and messages plus inflight service.  All exceeding expectations.  Service was great with constant attention to filling drinks and making sure guests were happy.  I love the new United!

UNITED AIRLINES - FORT LAUDERDALE TO HONOLULU

It took us three flights and countless hours to get from Fort Lauderdale to Honolulu.  Lucky that all of our flights were on time and comfortable.  Service on United was greatly improved with Flight Attendants actually trying to provide great customer service.  We were served the same exact meal on flight from Fort Lauderdale to Houston and from Houston to San Francisco.  Didn't mind much because the Spicy Chicken was actually pretty good.  Enjoyed a nice Beef Short Rib entree and Cabernet from San Francisco to Honolulu.

Amazing when you fly First Class on United and the service and food sucks.  It is as if they just don't give a shit.  It is the exact opposite when you fly an Asian or European airline where they understand customer service and take care of their customers instead of sitting in the galley eating and talking.  I went over three hours without being asked if I wanted water or a drink.  When I finally stopped the Flight Attendant to ask for water she abruptly asked me to wait.  Never once did they offer to refill any of my drinks.  The choice for dinner entrees were Cold Noodles or a Burger.  Breakfast of Egg Whites and Sausage was not bad.

The flight was great but my goodness the food sucked.  First Class was given the choice of Fried Rice or Chicken and the entrees.  I requested the Chicken and was shocked to find out that Chicken Curry was served.  They could have said Chicken Curry and not just Chicken.  The Chicken was breaded, fried and disgusting.  One of the worst United Airlines meals ever.

United sucks but when you have them as your #1 mileage partner you have to accept the small planes, often terrible food and always terrible service.  Compared to Asian or other International Carries, United is at the bottom of the list.  Just don't understand how they can allow Flight Attendants to be on their cell phones, ignore customers and pay more attention to themselves than their guests.  Seems like they just don't care.  While some of my Untied flights have been good, the majority even in First Class suck because of the service and attitude of employees.
