The flight was great but my goodness the food sucked.  First Class was given the choice of Fried Rice or Chicken and the entrees.  I requested the Chicken and was shocked to find out that Chicken Curry was served.  They could have said Chicken Curry and not just Chicken.  The Chicken was breaded, fried and disgusting.  One of the worst United Airlines meals ever.

As readers of my blog know, I fly United because of their mileage program and perks of being a Gold or 1K Member.  Most of my blog posts on United are negative but on this flight while the service was not up to the standards of a JAL, Lufthansa or other International Carriers the food was surprisingly good.  I was stunned to see this Bone-In Pork Chop on the plate and more surprised that it tasted delicious.  Enjoyed the flight but just wish the United Management would fly some of the Asian or other International carriers and learn what real customer service is all about.  Even offering to fill your glass without asking would be nice.
