Blessed to have a business dinner at Arancino at The Kahala.  The entire table enjoyed the Tasting Menu and was happy and satisfied.  This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Hawaii and this Tasting Menu is definitely a big fave.  I love the Caviar served on a bed of raw Shrimp.  What a nice light way to start the meal.  The Lobster Bisque is one of my favorite soups ever and you cannot help but want to lick the bowl.  The Caprese Salad served with Basil Oil is good but I really don't care for the Cherry Tomatoes.  I would would prefer regular Tomato.  My Wife went with the Crudites of Vegetables which is basically veggies with a Garlic and Anchovy Dip.  The Carbonara here is one of my all time favorite dishes.  I absolutely love it.  Normally I order the Carbonara with freshly shaved Truffles but they were not available on this night.  I was pretty full when my Steak arrived and really could have done without it.  I dug in though and it was perfectly cooked and delicious.  The Tiramisu was a nice ending.  Very light.  This is pretty much a perfect dinner and with the wine pairing....WOW!!

Arancino at The Kahala has become one of our favorite restaurants on Oahu.  Food and service is fantastic plus it is located at The Kahala which means we can walk around the grounds and enjoy the beach and sunset.  On this visit we opted for the Degustazione Five Course dinner.  I went with the wine pairing and enjoyed all of the wine selections.  I opted to change the last course wine to a Cabernet because there was a lot of whites.  Starting the meal with the Rosemary infused Focaccia Bread with Pesto and Olive Oil is always a pleasure.
Next up was the Caviar served over fresh raw local Shrimp.  Amazing but they do not provide bread or crackers for the Caviar so you basically eat it off the spoon.  The Lobster Bisque is one of the best soups ever.  We both thought it was amazingly delicious.  The Caprese Salad is good but I would prefer larger beefsteak Tomato over the smaller Cherry Tomatoes.  Flavors still very good though.  The Vegetable Crudities is a really nice presentation but at the end of the day it is raw vegetables with a garlic infused oil.  Not knocking it as it is good.  The Carbonara with Truffles shaved fresh at the table is probably one of my favorite dishes ever.
The Uni Pasta is another favorite and it is loved by our entire family.
