Five 50 Pizza Bar opened in the Aria this year under the direction of James Beard Award winning Chef Shawn McClain. Shawn's vision was to bring the world's most iconic pizzerias together with a dynamic bar scene. Cannot think of a better place to do this than the Aria. Now you can get hammered, gamble and grab a pizza before you hit the sack. I went in for lunch and found the bar scene not to be happening which was nice. The Margarita Pizza set me back around $30. I added Jalapeño for some kick and those little green chilies were hot. The pizza is good but not great. Thought the sauce was a bit bland. Liked the fresh tomato and basil. The crust was perfect. Not too thick and not too thin. Just right for my taste. Service was prompt and friendly. Got in and out quite fast for lunch. Like the little take out section in front of the restaurant. You can buy an entire pizza or just a slice from the counter.
