Maintaining a low carb diet does not mean missing out on my fave Nathan's Hot Dogs.

I just substitute lettuce for the bun.  Delicious!

Wrapped my favorite Nathan's Hot Dog in a low carb Tortilla.  Actually as good or better 

as a regular bun.  Loved it!

We have found a low carb bread that we like but have not been able to find low carb Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns.  Bought some of the Sola Low Carb Buns and they pretty much sucked.  Lousy smell, way too thick and not an appetizing taste.  I used my favorite Nathan's Hot Dog to make a Banh Mi Hot Dog topped with Pickled Carrots and Daikon, Avocado and Mustard.

Loved everything but the bun.

Craving my fave Nathan's Hot Dogs so I made a low carb version using lettuce in place of the bun.  Satisfied my cravings for a Hot Dog.

Hot Dog Day at the office and I kept it low carb by ditching the bun.  Added all my favorite condiments and ate with a knife and fork.  Totally satisfying Hot Dog.

I LOVE Nathan's Hot Dogs.  Even traveled to New York to eat at the original Nathan's on Coney Island.  Eating low carb doesn't stop me from eating Nathan's at home.  I just ditch the bun and use lettuce.  Totally satisfying for me!

I love Hot Dogs but with my low carb diet haven't been able to enjoy them.  I saw a post on Instagram where someone used lettuce as the bun.  Thought I would try it with my favorite Nathan's Hot Dog.  Did my normal Mustard, Relish and Onions and believe it or not this satisfied by Hot Dog craving.  Actually liked it and have now made these several times.
