I never get tired of going to Rum Fire Waikiki.  Love the Ahi Tataki and a glass of wine sitting outside on the lanai.  Sunsets here are amazing and the food and service are great.

Sitting on the lanai at Rum Fire was relaxing and a great moment to realize how blessed we are to live in Hawaii.  The views here are beautiful and the Seared Ahi is one of the best on the Island.  I could have sat here for hours.

A little celebration with the Lucid Motors representative who flew to Hawaii to deliver the first ever Lucid Air electric car to Hawaii.  Enjoyed good food, wine and beautiful views at Rum Fire Waikiki.  Seared Ahi was one of best ever.  Great service too.  Love this place!

Always enjoy having a drink on the outside lanai at Rum Fire.  Enjoyed some nice appetizers on this visit.  Kalua Pork Nachos were my favorite of this lineup.

Hooked up with a few buddies for some after work cocktails at Rum Fire at the Sheraton Waikiki.  Enjoyed some bubbles to start and ordered a Cheese Plate.  Probably the worst Cheese Plate ever.  One big slab of Blue Cheese and a smaller slab of a soft cheese.  I don't know anyone who can eat an entire slab of Blue Cheese.  I can only stomach a few bites of that stuff.  Waiter was excellent though.

I like Rum Fire at the Sheraton for the views and people watching along Waikiki Beach.  If you can grab a seaside table on the right side of the restaurant facing the ocean at sunset it is one of the best seats in Waikiki.  Met a long time friend named Mad Dog here to start the Holiday's prior to us both leaving for Asia trips.  Our little reunion to enjoy some pupus and drinks turned into a party when some friends showed up who were just coming off a catamaran ride and just happened to walk by us. Invited them to have a drink and the Mai Tai's and Champagne started flowing.

Got the family out of the house on a beautiful weekend afternoon in March.  I had been to Rum Fire a few days before entertaining some reps from Arizona.  Enjoyed a great Sloppy Slider that I wanted to share with the family.  Rum Fire is a large indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant set right on the beach in Waikiki.  Most of the seating is outdoors with great views of Diamond Head and Waikiki.  There is also a large section of outdoor seating that overlooks the huge Sheraton main swimming pool.  The Sheraton Infinity pool on the opposite side of the main pool is spectacular at sunset.  This is a great place to enjoy cocktails and pupu's in Waikiki.  Great staff, good food and fantastic views.  During Happy Hour from 2:00 to 6:00 there are drink specials such as draft beer for $4.50 and House Wine for $6.50.  Regular price for drafts is $5.50 and wine is $8.50.  Our waiter (Kenny) was spot on during our visit.  Always there to refill our drinks and make sure we were happy.  The Edamame ($4) here is delicious.  Served with a sweat chili sauce.  The Sloppy Sliders ($3 each) are awesome.  These are mini braised short rib sandwiches served with cole slaw.  If they would only put a pickle on this sandwich it would be the bomb.  Still good the way they are.  Our waiter Kenny said he would add pickles if we ordered more.  We were too full to order more but will order with pickles next time.  The Yukon Fries ($5) can be ordered with Garlic or Sea Salt.  We went for the garlic.  Great fries.  Addicting.  Light and crunchy.  Can eat these things for hours with a cold beer.  As the sun sets at Rum Fire the place fills with tourists and locals who maneuver for the best spots to watch the sunset.  Really makes me realize how lucky we are to live in Hawaii.  It is paradise and Rum Fire is a great place to enjoy our paradise.
UPDATE:  Returned to try the Mini Vienna Sausage Chili Dogs ($3).  These small Dogs are $3 each.  When you can buy a Costco Dog with a drink for $1.50, this is a rip off.  The Mini Chili Dogs were pretty flavorless.  The chili was tasteless.  Don't waste your money on these.

We enjoyed an absolutely beautiful sunset at Rum Fire last night. Scored a great seat with umbrella directly on the water overlooking Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. Throw in the new Infinity Pool to the right and you have "paradise". The Sheraton Waikiki has invested millions in water features, new bars and restaurants. The new Infinity Pool is spectacular. The larger family pool with slides, waterfalls and direct access to the ocean is also impressive. Sitting between the Infinity Pool and the Family Pool is a huge indoor/outdoor bar called Rum Fire. There seems always to be very good live local music playing here. The place is always packed around sunset. We go for the Happy Hour where you can enjoy small plates for a pretty good price. On this visit we enjoyed the Chipotle BBQ Babyback Ribs ($6). They were really good with a smokey bbq flavor and lots of sauce. The Edamame ($4) is served with a slightly spicy sauce and comes with a more spicy sauce on the side. The Jerked Seasoned Chicken Wings ($6) were just so so. Basic chicken wing. The most expensive item was the Fresh Fish Taco ($10). Two small mahi mahi tacos served up with a little cabbage and chipotle sauce. The grilled tortilla was good and the tacos were o.k. Worth $5 each? No. We also tried the North Shore Baby Romaine Ceasar Salad ($7). A nice salad with two fresh anchovies. You can enjoy

draft beers for $3 and house wines for $5 during happy hour which runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

This is a fantastic place to take an out of town guest or the family for a people watching afternoon in Waikiki.
