Lunch at Nico's Upstairs was pretty good. Loved the flavor Seared Poke and could not stop eating it.

Would have been nice to have the option of regular style Poke but on this day this is what was available. The Crudo do jour was also unbelievable good and fresh. I saw Muffaletta on the menu and I could only think of the Muffuletta at Central Grocery in New Orleans. One of the best sandwiches on the planet. The Nico's Muffuletta didn't do it for me. Did not care for the Kalua Pork but I get going local style and tastes. I wanted the Italian Meats, Cheese and Olive Salad like in New Orleans. The Seafood Paella was quite good with huge pieces of Sausage and lots of fresh seafood. I thought it was a bit bland but it was worth $20 for the large portion. Service was excellent and the location overlooking the harbor is nice. I do want to go back again and try more.

Nice to be getting back to Maui on a regular basis. This trip we stopped into Las Pinatas of Maui for some Mexican food. I went for my typical menu of a Shredded Beef Taco and Carne Asada Burrito.

The woman behind the counter asked if I wanted the Burrito with the Kitchen Sink which includes Beans, Rice, Guacamole, Cheese, Lettuce and Tomato. I said yes. We ordered a small bowl of Chips because they have a great Salsa Bar with around six different Salsas, Jalapeños, Onions and Cilantro.

The Shredded Beef Crunchy Taco was excellent. I really liked the flavor and will be coming back for more of these soon. The Carne Asada Burrito Kitchen Sink style was filled with nothing but Rice. Literally had to pick through the Burrito to find the meat. Pretty disappointed with this Burrito and next time I will try the Carne Asada Burrito without the sink.

Our experience at Noe was amazing and it was not because of the food. Don't get me wrong, the food was excellent but what shined here was the service. Probably the best I have ever experienced on Oahu. Our waitress was a superstar. She knew about the wine list, every detail of the menu, preparations and ingredients. Blew us away with her presentation and attention to our needs. I am not kidding this gal was the real deal and she was from Waianae where fine wines and fine dining are not the norm. During our meal the Manager and others visited our table to say hi and engage us in conversation. Now to the food. The Octopus was good but I thought the sauce or flavor could have been better. I went for the Lobster Spaghetti Pomodoro and loved it. My friend had the Ravioli and also said it was great. Really want to return back to Noe and hope to get the same waitress.

Easter Sunday Brunch at La Hiki Kitchen at the Four Seasons was fantastic. We are not big on buffets but this one is good. In stead of quantity they stress quality here. There is a wide selection of dishes that I did not photograph including a Pasta Station, Egg and Omelette Station and Sushi Bar. Everything I had was really good. Loved the Eggs Benedict, King Crab Legs, Lobster Tails and Sashimi. Not cheap at about $100 per person but when you can eat unlimited Lobster Tails you gotta pay the price. Recommend this buffet and would definitely want to go back.

Enjoyed my stay at the Four Seasons Ko'Olina. Service was good, liked the room and the restaurants are good. The place just does not have that luxury feel of say a Four Seasons in Singapore or Seoul.

No complaints though, great place to stay and far away from the hustle, bustle and crowds of Waikiki. Love Ko'Olina as it has the feel of being on a Neighbor Island yet is only 45 minutes from home.
