Lunch at Nico's Upstairs was pretty good. Loved the flavor Seared Poke and could not stop eating it.
Would have been nice to have the option of regular style Poke but on this day this is what was available. The Crudo do jour was also unbelievable good and fresh. I saw Muffaletta on the menu and I could only think of the Muffuletta at Central Grocery in New Orleans. One of the best sandwiches on the planet. The Nico's Muffuletta didn't do it for me. Did not care for the Kalua Pork but I get going local style and tastes. I wanted the Italian Meats, Cheese and Olive Salad like in New Orleans. The Seafood Paella was quite good with huge pieces of Sausage and lots of fresh seafood. I thought it was a bit bland but it was worth $20 for the large portion. Service was excellent and the location overlooking the harbor is nice. I do want to go back again and try more.
