APPETIZER AT HOME

This is hands down our families favorite cheese.  When served on top of toasted buttered bread with Raspberry Jam it is pure heaven.  The Raspberry Jam elevates the flavor to another dimension and puts this cheese appetizer at the top of our list for special occasions and when entertaining guests.  We sometimes have a difficult time finding Broschetto Al Tartufo in Hawaii and it is not cheap.  Runs around $50 and if we have to buy it online, add another $30 for shipping.

APPETIZERS AT HOME

My Daughter wanted me to make a Pasta dinner so I expanded on the Italian theme with a couple of appetizers.  Prosciutto Wrapped Cantaloupe which is so light, fresh, sweet and salty is the perfect appetizer for a warm Hawaii evening.  Always love this.  I picked up a few cheeses; Manchego, Truffle and a Gouda with Truffle.  So nice sitting on our outdoor lanai enjoying this food with family.

 Not very often we get my two Sisters visiting Hawaii from California so we had to have them over for a home cooked meal.  Went with our family favorites.  Truffle Cheese with Raspberry Jam, Grilled Shrimp and Steak and King Crab.

Really blessed to enjoy this incredible dinner at home.  Our favorite Truffle Cheese with Raspberry Jam on Garlic Toast, Marinated Grilled Pork Chop, Corn on the Cob and Rocky Road Ice Cream with a nice Cab.  Doesn't get much better than this with my loves.

Enjoyed an incredible meal cooked by my Wife for friends visiting from California.  Started the meal with some fresh Taco and Ahi Poke served with Cucumber and Avocado.  Yummy!!!  Next up was our favorite Boschetto Al Tartufo Cheese served with Garlic Bread and Raspberry Jelly.  This combination of the Truffle Cheese, Raspberry and bread make this an absolute flavor bomb. A little Prosciutto Wrapped Melon accompanied the cheese and it was light, fresh, cool and delicious.

The Spinach Salad with Bacon, Egg, Avocado and Strawberries was amazing.  Probably the best Spinach Salad I have ever tasted.  Homemade Honey Vinaigrette added a ton of flavor to this salad. The Steak and Lobster.  Wow....perfectly cooked and seasoned.  This meal was better than a Five Star restaurant in Honolulu.  My lovely bride knocked out the presentations and flavors making this a meal to remember.

Wow... I am one lucky guy.  Enjoyed an incredible Valentines dinner at home this year with three out of town guests who had never been to Hawaii.  Treated them to some great food and wine in the comforts of home.  My lovely Bride took care of the main courses while I did up the appetizers.  

This was pretty much a perfect meal for me.  Loved the food and love my Wife!
