Enjoyed a great business lunch at Nico's.  Our guests were from Italy and have never been to Hawaii.  Wanted to feed them some local Hawaii flavors and fresh fish.  Nico's was the perfect place!

Love the Crew and food at Kau Kau Grill.  Probably the Best BBQ Ribs and Poke on the Island.  They only serve fresh Poke here and none of that chemically treated crap you get at most restaurants.  The Ribs are meaty, smokey, sweet, fall off the bone delicious!

Another perfect dinner at Island Vintage Wine Bar.  This is one of my favorite restaurants in Hawaii.  Always good food and service.  Love the Truffle Brie and Ahi Shoyu Poke.  The Steamed Clams on this visit were a bit small but still very tasty.  The Portobello Fries always make my Wife happy.  Light and so satisfying dinner!

My Wife's Birthday Dinner was worthy of an award.  An incredible array of appetizers plus entrees that included Sous Vide Tomahawk Ribeye, Alaskan King Crab Legs, Cornish Game Hens, Crab Cakes and of course my world famous Drew Burger Sliders.  Enjoyed with family, friends and a bit of bubbly and vino.  Does not get much better than this.

I was picking up an order for our office at Kau Kau Grill and noticed they had a lot of Poke options on the menu.  I asked the owner if their Poke was fresh and he lit up with a big smile and said "yes", you should try it.  Try it I did and loved it!  This Poke was SUPER FRESH and probably one of the best tasting ever.  The Shoyu Ginger Ahi was amazing.

We don't do a lot of buffets but this is one that I can do every week.  The Seafood Buffet at The Kahala is my fave.  Loads of Crab, Sushi, Poke, Sashimi, Salads, Prime Rib and a host of other dishes that I don't even touch.  Everything is good here with the exception of the Calamari which is always dry and rubbery.  The Crab and Prime Rib shine here.  Funny how our table goes quiet as we dissect the crab legs one by one.  All you hear is "yum", delicious and "I want to eat more".  Love the Prime rib too, but I can only eat a small slice.  The Miso Butter Fish is excellent as is the Salmon Collar.  I tapped out before hitting the made to order Pasta Bar.  Love this buffet and the oceanfront location at The Kahala Resort.

Another GREAT meal at Island Vintage Wine Bar.  This place is one of our faves.  Again the food and service were fantastic.  Loved the Steamed Clams and Braised Beef Sandwich on this visit.  The Gravy served with the sandwich was amazing.  Great flavor with a touch of pepper.  Could drink this straight.  My Gals LOVE the Truffle Brie and Poke.

This dinner is going on my all-time favorites lists.  Everything on the menu was amazing.  Started with fresh Ahi Sashimi and Poke.  Next up was Fois Gras on Garlic Toast with Raspberry Jam.  A bite of heaven.  Caesar Salad with Parmesan Crisps and Anchovies followed.  The star of the show were Sous Vide Tomahawk Ribeyes served with incredible Pan Fried Potatoes with Butter and Herbs.  Even the Grilled Broccolini with Garlic was exceptional.  Hats off to me for doing the appetizers and my Wife for doing the heavy lifting with the salad and meat courses.  Dessert shined with an English Toffee Cake served with Roselani Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.  Wow....this was so good!
