Touring the Na Pali Coast has to be one of the best things to do when visiting the stunning Island of Kauai. I highly recommend using Holo Holo Charters out of Hanalei rather than other charters that depart from Port Allen. When you depart from Port Allen, the journey takes an extra hour or more to get to and from the Na Pali Coast. Unless you like long boat trips go out of Hanalei because the Na Pali Coast is right there. Once your journey begins from Hanalei, you are on the Na Pali Coast. Also recommend a tour company that uses Zodiac's because these smaller boats can enter the caves along the coast. This makes the tour spectacular! The Holo Holo Charter is perfect in time because it is a half day tour. There is time to snorkel too. They provide a simple lunch consisting of your choice of sandwich, chips, drinks and cookies. I could not imagine someone visiting Kauai and not seeing the Na Pali Coast. It is one of the most beautiful sites in America and the Pacific.

Well, I said that we would be back to the Bull Shed soon after our last visit and we kept our promise. Another trip to Kauai and another trip to the Bull Shed. Love this place. I had the exact same this time as I had last time and so did my Wife. Started with the Salad Bar which comes with your entree and then shared an order of Seared Ahi with the table. I love the Ahi but they cut it a bit thick for an appetizer. My girls went nuts over the Artichoke Dip which they devoured and said they could eat another portion. It was good and I am not a big Artichoke lover. We also shared the Waipouli Scallops which blew my mind with flavor. The Scallops were cooked perfectly. This is a great appetizer for the table if you like Scallops. For my entree I went with the Surf and Turf. Good ol' Steak and Lobster. The Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the Lobster was large and sweet. Since we don't eat too many Baked Potatoes in Hawaii, I went with a loaded one and loved it.

This is truly one of my favorite meals and Bull Shed does it right. MY Wife loves the Prime Rib here. I always take a bite and believe me it was delicious. Love the food here, view and service. Highly recommend The Bull Shed if you live or are visiting Kauai. I already want to go back!

Found a great little spot to pick up fresh Poke, Sashimi and Seafood on Kauai. The Fish Express satisfied my Daughters craving for a Poke Bowl. Pretty cool Poke Bar where you order Poke and then top it with a variety of toppings including Imitation Crab, Cucumbers, Pickled Cabbage, Ginger and Seaweed. Also a variety of sauces. I went for straight Sashimi and loved it. Also bought some Smoked Marlin and my only complaint was that I didn't buy more. Stuff was so good and we took it on a NaPali Coast tour the next day.

We love the Island of Kauai and wish we could go more often. This trip was special because it was the last family trip before my Daughter goes off to college. Stopped at Wailua and Opaekaa Falls which are very close to the airport and our condo.
