Absolutely loved the Lobster Roll at Luke's Lobster in Seattle.  Nuttin but Lobsta!

This Lobster Roll was fresh and full of flavor.  Pretty much perfection.  The staff here was great too.  You can really tell that they care about customers and want you to come back.

It has been a lot of years since we were back in Seattle and on previous visits we really liked Pike Place Chowder.  On this visit the line was wrapped around the building.  We waited in line which goes pretty fast and were handed our Chowder on a tray.  There is seating adjacent to the restaurant, but you need to have your food before you can sit down at a table.  We dug into the Clam Chowder first and were quite surprised on the lack of Clams and Clam flavor.  The Seafood Bisque was ok but nothing we would go back for.  Probably will try some other Chowders on our next visit as Pike Place Chowder just didn't deliver on flavor.

HAWAIIAN AIRLINES - HONOLULU TO SEATTLE

Hawaiian Airlines is our "Go To" airline and I love their miles program which allows us to upgrade to First Class using miles or certificates earned over the years.  This flight to Seattle was smooth and comfortable.  Service was good and the food was ok.  Not really a fan of the food on Hawaiian as it just seems to be very basic.  You always get Macadamia Nuts in First Class and on this trip they were stale.  The snack after the meal was a bag of pretzels that is served in the Hawaiian lounge.  Pretty bad.  Wish Hawaiian would up their game to the level of Asian airlines like Japan, Korean, Singapore and others.

The Makai Plantation at the Honolulu airport is a nice place to stop if you have time for a drink or meal.  Service has been good on all visits and the food is not bad.  On this visit, we went with the "go to" Poke which I always order here.  This Poke sucked and really was uneatable.  Totally not fresh and chemical filled.  The BBQ Pork Ribs however were delicious.  Fall off the bone tender and great flavor.

LOW CARB AIR FRYER NACHOS

LUNCH AT HOME

I was craving Nachos and made a delicious low carb version using A La Madre Low Carb Tortillas, a bit of Avocado Oil spray and the Air Fryer.  The Nachos were crisp in less than 9 minutes with the Air Fryer at 380 degrees.  Topped with Nacho Cheese Dip, Onions, Bell Pepper and popped in microwave for 40 seconds to melt the cheese and warm the veggies.  Added Jalapeños, Green Onion, Cilantro and Cotija Cheese.

Food and service at House Without a Key at the Halekulani Hotel is top notch.  The friendly staff made us feel welcome and relaxed.  Sitting on the patio here is a joy for me.  One of my favorite spots in Waikiki.  Enjoyed the Tuna Takaki.  Super fresh Ahi with a very light sear.  The Joy Crab Sandwich was delicious and I liked the slice of Pickle.  They use the bitter greens that I don't like for the salad so I barely touched it.  Prices are a bit expensive for lunch but look where you are sitting.  On the beach in a five star resort!

Orchid's is one of my favorite restaurants on Oahu.  The food, service and views here are exceptional.  Love it so much that one day I had lunch here and stayed until the evening and had dinner on the same day.  Amazing Waiter on this visit who helped select wines that were reasonably priced and paired well with the food.  Everything we ate was delicious but the stars for me were the Hamachi which melted in your mouth like butter.  The Bone Marrow had a rich and deep flavor that made your eyes roll back with happiness.  My absolute favorite dish is the Mushroom Risotto with Foie Gras and Truffles.  We always order this dish as an appetizer to be shared by the table.  On one visit we enjoyed four orders with our guests.  This is the best Risotto in Hawaii and it is world class.  Better than anything we had in Italy.  I would go back here just for the Mushroom Risotto.  It is rich, creamy, cheesy and the Foie Gras and Truffles put it over the top.  My Wife loved the Tenderloin with Foie Gras.  I took a bite and it was amazing.  The Lasagnette with Prawns and Scallops shined with fresh made Pasta and perfectly cooked seafood.  Blessed to enjoy this incredible dinner with friends visiting from Maui.  The perfect dinner with unbelievably good service.  Loved it!

Taka's Box Lunch in Mapunapuna is a working persons takeout window that serves good food at a fair price with really good service.  It takes a few minutes to get your food but the staff is friendly and makes you feel appreciated.
