Working really close to Kau Kau Grill means I can always get a great Plate Lunch that will be delicious and satisfying. These Ribs are amazing and the Garlic Ahi was super fresh, garlicky and super good. Love the food and crew here!

GARLIC AHI
DINNER AT HOME
Ahi was on sale for $6.99 per pound so this dinner was under $10 for two. The simple recipe is packed with flavor and a winner. Takes only minutes to make. First preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Salt and Pepper the Ahi. Chop a good bit of garlic to coat the top of the Ahi. Sear the bottom only in a mixture of butter and a little bit of Soy Sauce for about two minutes. Spoon the butter/shoyu mixture over the Ahi and then place in oven for around 5 minutes.

After making some Poke from a huge Ahi block I purchased, My Wife made her famous Garlic Ahi. This Ahi was so fresh that it literally melted in your mouth. This was definitely a restaurant quality meal at home on our lanai. Loved it!

GARLIC AHI WITH CAULIFLOWER RICE
DINNER AT HOME
With fresh Ahi Tuna on sale after the New Year holiday, I just had to buy some for our favorite Garlic Ahi dinner. We usually serve this with Garlic Rice but substituted Riced Cauliflower in place of Rice. The Garlic added a lot of flavor to the Cauliflower and it served its purpose with the fish. Not bad at all. We like our Garlic Ahi rare almost like Sashimi so the inside is pink/red. This low carb meal is one of our favorites!

We wanted to eat fish on this night and when I went to the store this fresh Ahi stood out like a floodlight. Bright red, glossy and so fresh. Made a quick Garlic Ahi that was loved by entire family.

I love fresh Ahi and I love Garlic so this is a favorite combination of flavors. We cook the Ahi rare so it is still pink in the middle. My Wife perfectly browns the garlic with White Wine and Butter. The flavor of the Garlic and Ahi together is pure heaven. Love it! Will be posting the recipe soon.

My 14th week in a row buying lunch for my office to support local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. This time I went with a tiny little restaurant that I have never heard of or been to before. A fellow foodie posted a photo of Guieb Cafe food and it looked really good. I checked out their menu and then called them up to order 30 Mahi Mahi with Garlic Caper Butter for my office. Also ordered 30 Clam Chowders. The Mahi came with a super tasty and light Crab Salad and scoop of Rice. Loved the Mahi. Lots and lots of garlic. Clam Chowder was thick and creamy. I would highly recommend trying Guieb Cafe and I will be back soon myself. Update: I have been back and back and back again. Click link below to see more incredible meals from Guieb. Tell them Mr. Fujitsu sent you and Get your Guieb on! UPDATE: Have been back at least six times and still loving this food. Added photos below of some of the great meals. Among my favorites are the Seared Ahi and Crab Legs. This place is a little hole in the wall neighborhood gem. Don't tell anyone.
Update: Back again for the Grilled Miso Asian Salmon. Absolutely delicious!

My Wife hit it out of the park with this Garlic Ahi dinner. Absolutely the best Garlic Ahi I have ever eaten. Cooked to a perfect pink medium rare and full of garlic flavor. I loved this so much!
