My office had not been to Guieb Cafe for awhile so when they said they were going there, I ordered the Meatloaf which I have never tried. Wow..this was really good. Two large pieces covered in Gravy. I requested all vegetables in place of Rice. I only finished the top slice and was full and happy. Would definitely order this again.

Back to Guieb Cafe where this time I went with a Weekly Special which was a Seared Ahi Salad ($13). It was good but they only gave me a little bit of dressing for the salad. Needed more because these type of greens are pretty dry and bitter.

Another visit to Guieb Cafe and this time it was to try their famous Prime Rib which sells out daily. My slice was a bit dry and may have been sitting awhile. Not my favorite Prime Rib but not bad.

Really think I need to try it again as I think it was the time in the box that made this dry. Nice slice though for $15.

GUIEB CAFE FRIED CHICKEN AND WAFFLES

Got my Guieb on again for lunch at the office. This time I tried the Fried Chicken and Waffles. Served with Maple Syrup but no butter. Really like butter on Waffles so I missed that. The Waffle and Fried Chicken were good though. I was full after one piece of Chicken and a few bites of the Waffle. Guieb continues to deliver tasty quality food and great prices!

GUIEB CAFE CRAB LEGS

Yes I am back at Guieb again this week. This time trying the Crab Legs which are only $15. Wow..amazing value and delicious. Did not need the butter as the Crab was sweet. Also loved the sautéed vegetables which are under the Crab. You can get rice but I always go for the veggies and Crab Salad. I was able to break the crab apart and cut the shell with a knife. It is a little work and messy but worth it. Once again very happy to get my Guieb on!

GUIEB CAFE SEARED AHI

Back to Guieb Cafe to get my "Guieb" on again. Just love this little local gem in Kalihi. Had the seared Ahi again with Crab Salad and Vegetables. Chose this over rice and they were happy to do it at no extra cost. This lunch is $12 and worth every penny. The Ahi is fresh and served very rare (almost raw) with just a sear on the outside. Works well with the sauces that take this dish to another level. Have not had a bad meal here yet and highly recommend you try it.

GUIEB CAFE SEARED AHI

Ok this is a neighborhood gem. The food here is delicious. I had the Seared Ahi today and requested Crab Salad in place of rice and vegetables. This was actually one of the best lunches ever! The Ahi was amazing and the vegetables were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Absolutely loved everything on the plate and was totally satisfied. My co-workers enjoyed the Prime Rib Loco Moco, Garden Omelette with Sweet Potato Fries and the Honey French Toast Acai. Everyone was extremely happy with their food. The food and people here are amazing. Great little locally owned business that I will continue to support. Highly recommend! Update: Went back again and this time tried the Chicken and Avocado Salad. Delicious but they put the warm Chicken over the greens so it wilted them a bit and there was a bit too much dressing for my liking and diet. I loved the flavor of the Chicken and Dressing but next time I order this will be with Dressing on the side and Chicken separated from the greens. Update: Went back again and tried the Crab Legs for $15. They were delicious and there was no need for the large tub of butter they provided. Update: Back again and had the Grilled Miso Asian Salmon. Absolutely delicious! Back again for Grilled Opah with Vine Ripened Tomato Garlic Butter and Mashed Potatoes. Awesome!! Update: Back again for the Fresh Catch Fish Sandwich. This was probably my least favorite meal here. They breaded the fish which I do not like. The fish however was delicious and fresh. The sandwich was a bit soggy and the fries were not crisp or seasoned. Back again to try the Prime Rib which lately has been selling out fast. Mine was a bit dry and have been sitting awhile. Not bad but not great. Another visit and I had the Club Sandwich which was a Weekly Special. It was terrible. Would not even call it a Club. Back again for the Seared Ahi Salad. It was good.

GUIEB CAFE MAHI MAHI WITH GARLIC CAPER BUTTER

My 14th week in a row buying lunch for my office to support local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. This time I went with a tiny little restaurant that I have never heard of or been to before. A fellow foodie posted a photo of Guieb Cafe food and it looked really good. I checked out their menu and then called them up to order 30 Mahi Mahi with Garlic Caper Butter for my office. Also ordered 30 Clam Chowders. The Mahi came with a super tasty and light Crab Salad and scoop of Rice. Loved the Mahi. Lots and lots of garlic. Clam Chowder was thick and creamy. I would highly recommend trying Guieb Cafe and I will be back soon myself. Update: I have been back and back and back again. Click link below to see more incredible meals from Guieb. Tell them Mr. Fujitsu sent you and Get your Guieb on! UPDATE: Have been back at least six times and still loving this food. Added photos below of some of the great meals. Among my favorites are the Seared Ahi and Crab Legs. This place is a little hole in the wall neighborhood gem. Don't tell anyone.
Update: Back again for the Grilled Miso Asian Salmon. Absolutely delicious!
Update: Back for the Prime Rib. Kind of dry. Not bad but not great.

Update: Back for the Lobster for $17. Not bad but the butter tasted real funny.

Update: Back for the BBQ Lilikoi Chickn. Super delicious.

Update: Back for the Porterhouse Steak. Good flavor but so tough and difficult to cut.

Update: Back for the Kalihiforna Burger. Wow...this was awesome!

Update: Back for the Philly Cheesesteak. Not my fave and could not taste the Cheese.

Update: Back for the Turkey and Ham. Wow. delicious. One of the best Guieb meals ever!
