Another one of my all-time favorite meals is Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce.

My Wife hit it out of the park with this dinner.  The perfect Salmon Wellington served with a Warm Cabbage and Bacon Salad.  My goodness, I am the luckiest man on the planet!

Our friends took a trip to Alaska and actually caught this Salmon that was absolutely delicious.  We even got the Roe which we used as a garnish.  Salmon with Hollandaise in one of our all time favorite family meals!

This is one of our all time favorite family meals.  My Wife cooks the Salmon to perfection and the Hollandaise Sauce adds so much flavor to the Salmon, Broccoli and Rice.  I put it on everything.

Thank goodness one of our favorite meals is Keto friendly.  Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce has been one of my favorite meals since I discovered it at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel in the 1980's.

LUNCH FOR CONTRACTORS AT HOME

Shirley always cooks lunch for contractors when they are working in our home.  She says that it saves time and money because they don't have to leave for lunch.  I offer to get them McDonalds or a plate lunch but she insists on cooking them a good meal.  On this day she made the contractors one of our families favorite dinners.  Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce.  Shirley has perfected making homemade Hollandaise and it is delicious.  Don't think the contractors were expecting a lunch like this but it seemed like they loved it.  Cannot wait to see what is for lunch today.

Our house is a mess with construction and contractors are working day and night. My Wife was still able to pull off one of our favorite meals that we enjoyed outside on our lanai while hammers pounded.  The entire family loves this simple meal that I discovered over 30 years ago at a hotel in Waikiki.  I can remember going to the lobby for breakfast and ordering Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce which for a guy from California seemed weird.  But I loved it and learned to make it at home.  Then after getting married I made this for my Wife and she loved it.  Then we had Keli and she loved it.  Now the entire family enjoys this together quite often and there is never and I mean never anything left on the plate.

This is probably one of our families favorite dinners.  Baked Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce, Asparagus and Rice.  Everything goes so well together and the sauce is delicious on the Salmon, Asparagus and Rice.  Never anything left on the plate with this meal.  Delicious!

Readers of this blog know that Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce is one of our favorite meals.  My Wife likes to make this with Wild Alaskan Copper River Salmon.  Once you try this you will be hooked too.  Guaranteed!

This is probably one of our favorite and go to meals ever.  Simple grilled salmon with Hollandaise Sauce with either Broccoli, Asparagus and rice.  We had both vegetables in the fridge so this meal included both Broccoli and Asparagus.  SO GOOD!

Never gets old and often crave it.  Asparagus and rice are the perfect sides for this dish.  Yummy!

One of the families favorite meals at home is Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce.  We have been eating this dish since I first tasted it for breakfast at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel which was over 30 years ago.  We serve it with Asparagus a lot because Hollandaise Sauce goes great with it too.  Cooked up some Cauliflower and Potatoes to go with it.  So good!

Decades ago I was transferred to Hawaii from the Mainland.  I lived in the New Otani Kamaaina Beach Hotel for five weeks and each morning would enjoy breakfast on the lanai overlooking the ocean.  They hotel restaurant called the Hau Tree Lanai served Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce and white rice for breakfast and I loved it.  Since then this combination has been on my dinner menu at home and it is one of my favorite meals ever.  We like the Wild Caught Sockeye Salmon which is sometimes available at Costco.  I go a bit heavy on the Hollandaise and pretty much put it on everything on the plate.  Pretty amazing that this delicious dish only takes minutes to prepare yet delivers so much flavor.  Definitely one of my top ten make it at home meals of all time.

Need to get back to a more healthy diet as I have packed on some extra poundage during my quest to blog about some pretty darn good food adventures.  This Baked Salmon dish delivered big flavor while keeping the fat and calories to a minimum.  We simply placed the salmon in foil and added soy sauce, white wine, sesame oil, sliced ginger and a bit of green onion.  Baked for around 20 minutes at 350 degrees.  Served with white rice and fresh cilantro.

One of my favorite dishes in the world is Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce.  Wild Sockeye Salmon was on sale today at the market.  My daughter saw it in the display case and said she wanted "that" Salmon.  For less than $10 we scored a great dinner.  Served up with some fresh sauteed vegetables with Oyster Sauce and white rice.  Simply delicious!!!

When I first moved to Hawaii almost 20 years ago, I stayed at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel for one month.  I loved the place and often enjoyed breakfast at the Hau Tree Lanai Restaurant overlooking the beach.  They served Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce with a scoop of rice.  I fell in love with the dish and worked to perfect it at home.  These days my wife cooks it perfectly every time.  It is one of my all time favorite meals.  Normally served with asparagus or broccoli.  Enjoyed a crisp Caesar Salad with Anchovies and glass of Pinot too.  This dinner was enjoyed with Mad Dog, my long time friend and Godfather to Keli.
