Hosting 350 people for a tailgate party takes some work and a lot of money.  Blessed that my company can do this every few years for our customers and vendors.  Incredible day with performances by the University of Hawaii Band, Cheer Squad and Rainbow Dancers.

Enjoyed a rare Brunch at Tango Contemporary Cafe with my buddy visiting from the Mainland.  

Don't know what it was, but the service and attitude of employees on this visit was much better than my previous visits.  Really good.  I had my mind set for Fried Rice and Eggs Benedict and then the waiter walked by our table carrying a dish that looked amazing.  To my surprise, it was the Loco Loco Benedict ($12) which I had totally overlooked on the menu.  Both me and my friend ordered the same dish and it was delicious.  The Loco Loco Benedict with Fried Rice and Braised Beef with Hollandaise Sauce is the bomb!  Loved it.  Especially good with a glass or two....or three of bubbly.

Once a year we open our home to business associates and friends.  Truly a lot of work but worth it to see all the happy faces and smiles.  This year we did "A Taste of Japan" complete with a Sushi Bar set up in our Dining Room.  The event was catered by Kahai Street Kitchen and they did an incredible job serving up some delicious Japan inspired dishes.  We had a full bar complete with four of the most beautiful bartenders on the Island including Miss Hawaii USA, Julie Chu and Miss Chinatown, Stephanie Wang.  What a great time!

 My buddy from Californias last day in Hawaii and we ended up at Orchids at the Halekulani for Sunday Brunch.  At over $80 per person this is an expensive brunch but the quality is high and selection is good.  I can never get my monies worth at a buffet.  Just cannot eat that much food.  What you see here is everything that I ate and some was left on the plate.  Food was delicious.  Nice piano player and beautiful location make this a nice spot for special occasions.

LOVE Giovanni's Shrimp Truck on the North Shore of Oahu.  Cannot always get out there so we bribe the workers for extra hot sauce and keep it in the refrigerator.  My Wife has perfected the Garlic Shrimp recipe and when combined with the real deal Giovanni's Hot Sauce, we have our own Shrimp Truck at home.  Truly one of our favorite meals.

Really blessed to enjoy this incredible dinner at home.  Our favorite Truffle Cheese with Raspberry Jam on Garlic Toast, Marinated Grilled Pork Chop, Corn on the Cob and Rocky Road Ice Cream with a nice Cab.  Doesn't get much better than this with my loves.

After a huge weekend of events it was nice to slow down and enjoy a little BBQ with my girls.
Made our own In n' Out Burgers and enjoyed Nathan's Hot Dogs.  Sides included Corn on the Cob, Cole Slaw and some super good Smoked Ahi Dip.

One of those morning afters where I needed a Taco in the morning.  We had some leftover marinated Steak so I grilled it up with an egg and some onions.  Topped on the Hot Sauce and put it all in a grilled Corn Tortilla.  Really hit the spot.
