BUCA DI BEPPO DELIVERY IN WAIKIKI

DINNER IN WAIKIKI

Spent the night in one of our Waikiki condos and invited a few friends over for dinner.

Ordered delivery from Buca di Beppo and it was great. I made a Cheese Platter for my buddy who is battling cancer. He loves Cheese and Salami so I did it up right for him. Cannot believe that five people almost finished the entire Cheese Platter. The food from Buca di Beppo was really good. I kept it half low carb with the Antipasto Salad, Broccoli and Chicken Marsala. Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Baked Rigatoni and Pizza for the carb lovers. All this good food, friends and a lot of vino made this a very fun night.

We used to always get a Leo's Taverna Gyro at Aloha Stadium during University of Hawaii Football Games. With the stadium now closed and being torn down, I still get those cravings for a Gyro. Ordered one up with my free Uber Eats delivery and enjoyed one at the office.

I kept it low carb by not eating the Pita Bread. Delicious and satisfied by craving.

Absolutely love our Taco Tuesdays at home. These Beef and Guacamole Tacos with A La Madre low carb tortillas really hit the spot with flavor and a bit of spice.

BEEF AND VEGETABLE STUFFED ZUCCHINI WITH PEPPERONI

DINNER AT HOME

This low carb dinner really hit the spot with great flavor. I cooked Ground Beef with Onions, Bell Pepper, Carrots, Garlic, Salt Pepper and Oregano. Added Bertolli's Tomato and Basil Sauce and simmered. Dug out the inside of the Zucchini and seasoned with Salt, Pepper, Oregano and Flavor God Italian Seasoning. Grilled the Zucchini on both sides until it was tender with nice grill marks. Put the Beef and Vegetable mixture into the Zucchini and topped with Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheeses, Pepperoni and a bit more of the Cheese. Cooked at 375 for about 30 minutes. Results were delicious!

WEDGE SALAD AND SASHIMI

DINNER AT HOME

Back to a couple of our favorites for a light dinner at home. Started with some super fresh Ahi Sashimi served with Avocado. For the Wedge Salad I added Pickled Beets, Bacon, Egg, Tomato and Crumbled Blue Cheese. Served with a delicious Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing.

Deck Waikiki is a great spot to enjoy food, beverages and an incredible view of Diamond Head. The place has a young vibe with a DJ spinning music and a sometimes rocking pool scene. We all liked it here and will be returning again. The restaurant is also dog friendly which means we can bring our dog next time. We started with the Poke Bowl without rice. Basically just the Poke. It was delicious. Fresh Ahi with lots of onion and a not too sweet sauce. The Guacamole and Chips were fresh and delicious. I went with the Deck Burger with Avocado. Pretty big piece of meat and pretty good. Served with French Fries. We got regular Fries and Truffle Fries. Definitely go for the Truffle Fries. My Wife had the Salmon Toast which is more like a Salmon Dip smeared on the bread. She had hoped for slices of Smoked Salmon but it is a spread. Big disappointment. Our friend liked the Country Fried Steak and Eggs. Service was ok but not great. We had to ask for Chop Sticks, Ketchup, Tabasco and Water.
