Blessed to come home to a perfect dinner like this.  My Wife prepared an incredible steak that was on par with Ruth's Chris, Morton's or Del Frisco's.  Seasoned and charred on the outside and a perfect medium rare on the inside.  Loved it!  The appetizer was a Caprese Salad with Burrata which was da bomb!

This was so good and definitely restaurant quality.  I like to put a little Pink Himalayan Salt on the Burrata to really boost the flavor.  Balsamic Glaze makes for the perfect complement to the Tomatoes, Basil and Cheese.

Happy that my Wife requested my Spicy Vodka Rigatoni for her Birthday dinner.  I decided to do a complete Italian meal that included a Caprese Bruschetta and Berries with Mascarpone.  Must say everything was delicious.  My Daughter LOVED the Berries with Mascarpone.

This appetizer was super delicious and a perfect pairing with my Rigatoni Alla Vodka.

Toasted bread with Garlic, Butter and Parmesan topped with a mixture of Mozzarella Cheese, Tomato, Basil and Balsamic Glaze.  Tasted like Tuscany!  The perfect appetizer.

Wanted to get back in the kitchen and cook for my lovely bride so I made a little Italian dinner.  Both of us had no carbs all day so indulging in some pasta was nice.  Caprese was delicious with a thick Modena Balsamic Vinegar and fresh Basil from our garden.

TEEN TEEN - GANGNAM - KOREA

My gals were getting hair cuts in Gangnam and I had to find a home for a few hours.  Walked down the street and tried to find a place that serves wine.  This is tough is some areas of Korea because wine is not served in a lot of places.  This is Soju and Beer country.  Found this little spot that had wine on the menu so I went in.  Boy, I am glad I did.  The Tomato Caprese Salad was the BOMB!  One of the best if not the best Caprese Salad of my life.  The tomato was insane.  Chilled to perfection and bursting with flavor.  Perfect with the Mozzarella Cheese and Pesto.  I savored every bite and loved it.  The Pizza however was a different story.  Very bland flavors that made it not worth eating the carbs.  The vino was good and perfect with the Caprese Salad.

Visiting our dear friend Tom in Pleasanton and his favorite spot to meet is Baci Bistro on Main Street.  This was our third time here and we really like the food.  Nice portions, friendly service and delicious.  I had the Chicken Piccata and it was excellent.  My Daughter went nuts of the Caprese Salad and Grilled Artichoke.  Wife loved the Beet Salad.

This light, low carb dinner was delicious.  We had the Roasted Beets, Tomato and Avocado in the fridge so I decided to use them up in this not so normal creation.

Enjoyed a delicious and light dinner at home with a Caprese Salad.  Added a little Avocado, Cucumber and Aged Balsamic to the Mozzarella, Tomatoes and Onion.  Delicious.

AMAZING BIRTHDAY DINNER

We went out to eat a few times for my Wife's Happy Birthday weekend.  When it came to her actual Birthday meal she requested something light.  I decided to do a small plate Tasting Menu with some of her favorite dishes.  We started with Liver Pate on Cucumber topped with Creme Fraiche and Caviar.  Next up was Ahi Sashimi with Avocado.  Caprese Salad with Pesto and Balsamic followed.  We took a break and then enjoyed Steamed Clams with Garlic, Butter and White Wine.  To end the dinner I pan seared Foie Gras and served it on a Toasted Baquette with Garlic Butter and a swirl of Raspberry Jam.  Ended with an incredible Chocolate Cheesecake with Oreo Crust.  Wow....this was so fun and so good.

Wow...this restaurant quality dinner was amazing.  Me and my Wife tag teamed with me doing the appetizers and salad.  She did the heavy lifting cooking the main entrees and dessert.  Perfect dinner for our friends 11th Wedding Anniversary.  Kept it pretty low carb.  Served our guests Mashed Potatoes with Butter and Parmesan too.  None on my plate though.
