The Four Seasons Hualalai is spectactular with its prime location on the white sandy beach. We enjoyed breakfast at Ulu while visiting the property during a golf outing to Hualalai. Service was excellent and so was the view from our table. Food a bit pricy though. I ate just a little from the buffet and it was $43 plus $18 a glass for champagne and bloody mary's. Made for a very expensive breakfast.

When you find out that Nanea is listed in the top 5 of the most exclusive golf clubs in the World, you kind of come away from your experience here feeling very lucky and blessed to play the course. Playing on an ultra private course built by Bandon Dunes architect David McLay Kidd and owned by Charles Schwab and his buddy George Roberts is a golf experience of a lifetime. I have played here twice now and both times have been memorable. The first time is etched in my memory forever as I could not hit the ball off the tee box. I struggled through all 18 holes yet still loved the experience. Fast track to this round where one of the finest caddies I have ever played with guided me to a respectable round in the low 90's. There we were, me and three golf buddies with Nanea all to ourselves. Not a soul to be seen in front or in back of us. We were the only tee time for the day except for a single golfer going out later in the afternoon. The weather was Kona perfect. Warm and a bit humid with a nice breeze. You would think that the staff here would be snooty being it is one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the World. The exact opposite is true. Everyone we met here was exceptional, polite, friendly and real. Made us feel like we were members even though non-members cannot use the restaurant and bar. We did have access to the beautiful locker rooms that are so comfortable and include outdoor showers. Nanea is a special place and special golf experience.

So blessed to have access and play one of the most exclusive courses in the World. Makes sense though because I am a happy client of Charles Schwab and do all my investing through his firm.
