Not much to see or do in Oman as our tour to a mountain lake was cancelled due to heavy rains which our tour guide said only come every five years or so. Since we had a private driver/guide we asked him to take us around the town and show us the market and his city.
Well, this was it. Our guide was very nice trying to adjust the day for us. Did not really have a lot of interaction with the local people as they just seemed to stare and not engage.
