A trip to North San Diego is not complete without a stop at Raul's Shack in Encinitas. The Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos are my all time favorite. Filled with delicious marinated beef and loaded with Cheese, Lettuce, Guacamole and Pico de Gallo. Add the Red Hot Sauce and it is Taco heaven. Two of these Tacos will fill you up and you will leave satisfied. Also love the Rolled Tacos with Guacamole and Carne Asada Tacos and Burritos. My friend always orders the Chicken Soup and loves it more than anything on the menu. This is one of the best Taco shops on the planet!

The Brigantine is one of my favorite restaurants in the World. Love the food here and at times have eaten here three days in a row. There is no other restaurant that gets me back time and time again. The Fish Tacos here are some of the best in the World and everything on the menu seems to taste good. Cannot say enough good things about the Brigantine. ALL TIME FAVE!

We dined with some of my old friends who have been by my side for over 30 years.

We were walking down Highway 101 in Encinitas and decided to have breakfast at The Encinitas Cafe. My Wife wanted to go to Raul's Shack for a Breakfast Burrito, but I insisted on having a sit down breakfast with coffee as we never get to enjoy this in Hawaii. We grabbed an outside table and the waitress was there in seconds with menus and coffee. The coffee was like hot water with very little taste. I ordered the Chorizo with Eggs because we cannot get this type of breakfast in Hawaii. The portion was huge and more than enough for two people. I combined the Chorizo, Eggs, Beans and Salsa and made little wraps with the fresh tortillas. Absolutely delicious. Love this breakfast and would go back and order it again. My Wife and Daughter shared a single order of the Corned Beef Hash and Tomato Benedict. The kitchen split the order which was nice. They enjoyed the Benedict. Really enjoyed the food. Service was great and sitting on the outside patio was very nice.
