FILET MIGNON

DINNER AT HOME

Blessed to come home to a perfect dinner like this.  My Wife prepared an incredible steak that was on par with Ruth's Chris, Morton's or Del Frisco's.  Seasoned and charred on the outside and a perfect medium rare on the inside.  Loved it!  The appetizer was a Caprese Salad with Burrata which was da bomb!

BURRATA AND HEIRLOOM TOMATOES WITH BALSAMIC GLAZE

DINNER AT HOME

This simple dinner was absolutely amazing. I mean world class delicious.  My Wife picked up Heirloom Tomatoes at Whole Foods and the Burrata from Bocconcino in Kakaako.  A little fresh Basil and some really good Balsamic from Modena.  A secret we learned from enjoying this same Burrata at Arden Waikiki was to put Pink Himalayin Sea Salt on the cheese.  You will be amazed how this kicks up the flavor.  This is all we had for dinner this night and it was so satisfying and filled me up too.  Wow....want to have this again tonight!

FALCIANI RISTORANTE PIZZERIA - VENICE, ITALY

We were hosted to lunch in Venice and our host let around 30 people order anything they want off the menu at Falciani Ristorante.  We kept it simple and tried the Burrata with Tomatoes, Margarita Pizza, Carbonara and Pasta with Clams.  The Burrata was fresh and the Pizza was just ok.  What really surprised and disappointed was the Carbonara which was served with the eggs scrambled.  Never in my life would I have thought this would be served in Italy.  The scrambled eggs ruined the dish.  Pasta with Clams was not bad.

APPETIZER AT HOME

Vine Ripened Tomatoes, Basil and Burrata with Balsamic Glaze.  Oh..and a little Prosciutto too.  Appetizer for Keli's Happy Birthday Week.  Light, fresh and delicious!
