A trip to Las Vegas ALWAYS includes lunch or dinner at Javier's. Probably one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants ever. Always delicious with exceptional service. As time has passed, it is tougher to get a table here. I sit at the bar quite often but you really need to get here early to obtain a coveted seat. The Bartenders are friendly, professional and execute a high level of customer service. The Chips and Salsa here is the absolute best. Just enough heat and lots of flavor with fresh cooked chips that they refill without question. I went here twice on this trip. First trip I had a Chicken Enchilada with a Shredded Beef Taco which is my "go to" meal at Javier's. I don't worry about staying low carb at Javier's and even eat the Beans and Rice which are great. The Beans are silky and flavorful and the Rice is cooked perfectly. Love the Shredded Beef Tacos and could eat one of these every single day. On my second visit I switched up the Enchilada and went with Crab. It was served with a green sauce that was very tart. Kind of ruined the Enchilada for me. I did figure out how to eat all the Crab without too much of the sauce. My Wife went for a Chicken Enchilada and Beef and Cheese Chili Relleno. Absolutely loved it and said this was her favorite Mexican restaurant.
