After the first time eating a Bella Banh Mi Sandwich, I said that I would come back.  Well I'm back with my wife to have another one of these tasty sandwiches.  Ordered the Saigon Special with extra veggies.  Also requested cheese but they do not offer this.  Really good and I will be back again!

Needed some sandwiches for the office and decided to go with Banh Mi's instead of the usual Subs.  Found Bella Banh Mi Cafe on DoorDash and they were great.  Probably the second best Banh Mi Sandwich next to BaLe Sandwich.  Bread, meats, pate and veggies were great.  Definitely will be back here again!

A cool rainy day in Honolulu is the best time to enjoy a bowl of Vietnamese Pho and Pho Saigon has some of the best.  Enjoyed the Lost in Saigon Pho which was loaded with meats and delicious.  Very filling and more than enough for two people.  Also enjoyed the Special Banh Mi which I think is one of the best in Honolulu.  Think this may be my "go to place" for Pho and Banh Mi Sandwiches!

I was happy to learn there was a new place that serves Banh Mi Sandwiches in Honolulu.

My go to Bale Sandwich in Hawaii closed and I have been trying other places and just have not found a place that can deliver the bread, meats and flavor of Bale.  Sip Cafe fell short on their Saigon Special.  Thought it was very light on the Pate, Meats and overall flavors.  

The Pho Dip was just ok.  Between the two, we both chose the Saigon Special.

My wife decided to make homemade Banh Mi Sandwiches and went to Chinatown to pick up the bread and ingredients.  Tasted really good but the bread was a bit too thick for us.  Will try this again with maybe a French Baguette.

Thought Bella Banh Mi Cafe was good and better than most Banh Mi Sandwiches in Honolulu.  Prefer the Saigon Special Combination over the BBQ Chicken.

Wow....I love this sandwich.  The Bale Special Sandwich with Cheese, no mayo and extra vegetables.  One of my all-time favorite sandwiches on the planet!

Seems like every time we return from a mainland trip, our first cravings are for a Banh Mi and Pho from Bale Sandwich.  This is one of my favorite sandwiches on the planet and the Hawaii Kai location does it best.  I order the Special Sandwich with Cheese, no mayo and extra veggies.  They do it up right for me every single time.  Also order the Pho with extra onions and they do that too.  Great service and the food rocks at Bale!

Love the KCC Farmers Market which is a Saturday MUST if you have not been there.  The Market is filled with some great eats which on this visit was a Lobster Empanada and Bahn Mi Sandwich for us.  Great place to people watch with a mix of locals and lots of Japanese tourists.  Enjoy roaming the stalls and just taking in the day here.  Bring cash or credit card and come hungry and enjoy!
