Enjoyed a very nice business lunch at Olivine at the Waldorf Grand Wailea in Maui.

This is one of my favorite resorts in Hawaii and I love to bring customers and out of town guests here.  Lunch at Olivine was excellent.  Really enjoyed the Roasted Beet Salad which had big pieces of super fresh beets and a lot of Arugula.  Wish the salad had a better assortment of greens that were not so bitter.  Pizza was good and so was the service.

Our visit to Olivine was a tail of bad decisions. We didn't stick to our diet and ordered fried and high carb items.  Service and view were great but not a fan of the Pizza or Frito Misto.  The Watermelon and Arugula Salad was ok if you like a lot of Arugula.  The Fritto Misto was tasteless and needed some seasoning and better tasting dipping sauces.  The Pizza was terrible.  I ordered Pepperoni and Sausage and the amount of toppings was minuscule.  So little Sausage that you could not taste it on the Pizza.  The sauce was very bland and the crust had to taste.  We ate one slice each and left the rest in the pan.  Didn't even want to take it back to the room.

I would return here but just make better decisions on what I order.
