BREAKFAST AT HOME

I don't eat breakfast during the week as I am off to the office by 3:30am.  Rarely eat breakfast on weekends too, but I was hungry today and looked into the refrigerator.  Had all the ingredients for a classic Hawaii breakfast.

After my Daughters sleepover with Friends, we had a Sunday breakfast with Portuguese Sausage, Eggs, Rice, Bacon and a Chocolate Chia Pudding with Strawberries.

Already feeling lonely thinking about my Daughter going away to college.  I am going to miss making her weekend breakfasts and just hanging out with my BFF.  She likes her eggs crunchy on the ends so thats the way I make them.  Wonder if she will be able to get this Hawaii staple breakfast somewhere on the Mainland next year.

Portuguese Sausage, Eggs and Rice is somewhat of a staple breakfast in Hawaii.  So popular in fact you can order this at McDonalds here.  My entire family prefers a spicy Portuguese Sausage but it is available in mild too.  For some reason white rice goes great with this breakfast.  Add a little fresh Papaya or Mango and you have a delicious breakfast in paradise.  My daughter likes her eggs with lots of pepper and so do I.
