Enjoyed Cino a lot.  Food and service were excellent.  The Grilled Spanish Octopus was cooked to perfection with a nice char on the outside.  Cut like butter and moist inside.  The Caprese was ok but seemed a bit bland.  The Crab Pasta with Uni was good but we probably would not try it again. Didn't care for the Bread Crumbs in the pasta. Prime Rib was cooked and seasoned absolutely perfectly.  One of the moistest pieces of meat ever.  Just perfect!   Now for the Twice Baked Potato.  I don't think I have ordered a Baked Potato in ages.  Something just told me to try it and I am so glad we did.  At $18 it is an expensive Potato, but oh boy was it delicious.  We loved it!  Really happy with this restaurant and cannot wait to return and try more menu items.

These little mini Drew Burgers served on a Brioche Bun were fantastic.  So good in fact that we will be serving them at the 10th Annual Cooling Cancer Golf Tournament being held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Hoakalei Country Club.  We will also be serving our Carne Asada Tacos at the tournament too.

Made Carne Asada Tacos and then followed that up with a Carne Asada Burrito.  Simple and so delicious.  Low carb Flour Tortilla, Carne Asada, Guacamole, Onions, Cilantro 

and Hot Sauce.

Another visit to Amigo's in Maui and another great meal.  I really like this place and the food is better than anything I have found on Oahu.  I tried the Hard Shredded Beef Taco and Carne Asada Burrito Enchilada Style.  The Taco was a bit mushy and the shell was not hard.  Don't know if this was because it was delivered and may have sat a bit.  Flavor was ok.  The Carne Asada Burrito however rocked.  Delicious Steak and Sauce.  Added Sour Cream and Guacamole and it was worth it.  The Hot Sauce here is great and reminded me of some the great sauces in San Diego.  Full of flavor with a nice kick of heat.  Couldn't stop eating it with the Chips.  Co-Workers loved the Carne Asada Burrito with Rice and Beans and Chicken Enchiladas.  Love the food here and cannot wait to go back to Maui for some more!

Back to Robata Jinya for the $48 Omakase that we loved a few weeks ago.  Had to take our Daughter to enjoy this great meal once again.  Love the Wagyu Takune and Akaebe Shrimp Ishiyaki Hot Pot the best.  We always order rice to go with the Wagyu Takune.  This is a lot of food and we skipped dessert because we were so full.  Once again, Kenny the waiter did an amazing job.

 My Wife surprised me with this amazing Steakhouse dinner.  Perfectly cooked Filet with Au Gratin Potatoes and Cream Spinach.  As good or better than my favorite Steakhouse.

SHIRMP TEMPURA TACOS

I cannot stop eating or raving about these amazing Shrimp Tempura Tacos.  One of my favorite Tacos ever and so easy to prepare.  I use Ala Madre Low Carb Tortillas which are lightly heated until they are just a little bit crispy.  Place a cooked Shrimp Tempura in the Tortilla and cover with White Sauce (Yogurt, Mayo and Lime Juice), Tempura Sauce, 

Hot Sauce and then add Cabbage, Cheddar Cheese, Pico de Gallo and a slice of Avocado.  

One bite and you will be hooked on these.

The first two or three times I visited Caparotti's in Kahala, the sandwiches were delicious.  I remember the bread being soft and not being too much of the sandwich with the meats being the star.  On this visit it seemed the sandwich was all bread with less meats.  Just was not the same.  I took half of the sandwich home and my Daughter ate it, and lo and behold said the exact same thing.  Based on this sandwich, I won't be back to Capriotti's.  Gonna go back to Jersey Mikes.

I love Big Kahuna's Pizza even though it is not a thin crust New York Style Pizza.  Their Specialty Pizzas pack tons of flavor and are a nice change from regular Pizza.  On this visit we had the Mexican Pizza which is one of my favorites.  Love the Chorizo, Black Beans and Jalapeños.  Probably my favorite of the three shown here.  Next up is the Sumo which I also love.  The sauce on this pizza is delicious and for me makes the Pizza along with all of the great toppings.  The Kanaka is also good but I ate the other two first and liked them more.

Pro Tip:  Make sure you get your parking ticket validated before leaving the store.  You will need it to get out of the parking lot.
