After being on the mainland, I crave fresh Ahi Sashimi. So blessed to be able to get this year round in Hawaii. This is all I need for dinner sometimes. Makes me happy!

SALMON WITH HOLLANDAISE SAUCE
DINNER AT HOME
Back home from eating a lot of carbs and unhealthy foods on the mainland. Lucky we had some Salmon from Alaska in the freezer. Made our fave Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce along with a delicious salad packed with Avocado, Edamame, Cannelloni Beans and Veggies.
This type of dinner is so filling and satisfying. One of my faves.

UNITED AIRLINES - NEW JERSEY TO HONOLULU
United has some funky seating on their flights. One flight had us looking at people facing us and another had us in the middle with four seats and no privacy from the people next to you. Kind of crazy for First Class I thought. As with United, the food and service are just average.
We flew from New Jersey to Los Angeles and the LA to Honolulu. Our connection was right on time and we literally went from one flight to the next without any extra waiting time.
I am a loyal United Miles customer but just wish they could improve service and food.

CENTRAL PARK - NEW YORK, NY
After breakfast at Russ & Daughters and lunch at Katz's Delicatessen, we needed to walk a bit or I would have fallen asleep. It was an absolutely beautiful day in New York so we hopped a cab to Central Park. Wow...so beautiful when the weather is warm.

I liked the food, service and busy vibe of Frenchette in New York. Totally different food scene than Hawaii. I ordered a bottle of wine and discussed a second bottle should we need it. They brought both bottles at the same time and decanted them before I could say wait, only one at a time. Oh well....
