Love having lunch at the Harbor House in Kona.  One of my favorite places.  When I was a beer drinker we used to come here for the chilled icy Schooners.  Now it is more about the food.  The Fish Sandwich here is one of the best in Hawaii and I always seem to order it.

Also love the Ahi Poke with all the onions.  Service was great, food is good and the open air atmosphere on the harbor is perfect Hawaii.

With the Wife away in Japan, I am eating solo for a few weeks.  Picked up some fresh Halibut and served with a Shallot and Garlic Cream Sauce plus a Chopped Salad.  Fish was perfect!

Found some low carb Hamburger Buns at the market so I tried them on a Drew Burger.

Nice taste and texture which complimented the perfect burger.

Home alone with the Doggy for two weeks so dinners are not as nice and fancy as when the Wife is here.  I meal prepped BBQ Chicken, Taco Meat and Pasta Sauce to get me through the weeks of eating home alone.  BBQ Chicken and Baked Beans were pretty good.

Friday's during Lent Season mean eating no meat so I tried the Burger King Fish Sandwich.

Ordered mine with Cheese, Onion, Pickles and Tomato.  This was a decent sandwich and I liked it better than the McDonald's Filet O' Fish.

Another GREAT dinner at Margotto.  Definitely my favorite restaurant in Hawaii for the past three years.  When you can enjoy Caviar, Foie Gras, Truffles, Pasta and Wine, it really doesn't get better than this.  Pastas here are World Class and the Risotto with Foie Gras and Truffles will make your tummy smile as will the Mashed Potatoes with Foie Gras and Truffles.  The A5 Japanese Wagyu melts in your mouth like butter and is full of flavor.  I ordered the non-menu Wagyu Burger for my Sisters Grandson because he has a huge appetite and wanted him to get filled up.  He said it was best Burger ever.  Love the food, service and entire staff at Margotto!

This is definitely one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Hawaii.  Everything on the menu is good and when you eat family style with lots of people it could be the best in Hawaii.  We always start with Chef Colin's Specials and then add dishes from there.  While it is difficult to save room for dessert, I always seem to have room because they are so good.  The Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch and Chocolate Brownie are my faves.  The Bread Pudding is also 

one of the best in Hawaii.
