My Daughter had leftover Kalbi and Rice from dinner last night.  I made her this stack using the leftovers.  Topped with Egg and Caviar.  I went with Avocado Toast on low carb bread.

This low carb breakfast was delicious.  Avocado and Cream Cheese topped with Egg and Caviar.  Trying to use up Caviar we got for Thanksgiving before it goes bad.

Wow....this little bottle of Truffles I picked up on Amazon for less than $40 can turn any dish into Truffle heaven.  The Truffles that are packed in Olive Oil have great flavor and the oil also is packed with a Truffle punch.  Made this Avocado Toast using our favorite low carb bread, Avocado, Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, Poached Egg and Truffles.  Amazing!

My Nephew who lived in Santa Barbara for many years said I should check out the Ritz Carlton Bacara.  Decided to visit for breakfast.  I approached the reception desk at The Bistro and asked for a table for one.  The gals were all smiles and very welcoming.  They asked for my room number and I said I was just visiting for breakfast.  One of them said that only hotel guests could dine here.  OK I said and was ready to leave.  She then said that it had been slow and they would appreciate the business.  She asked me for my name and graciously took me to a table outside.  She thanked me by my name with a big smile.  My waitress arrived and welcomed me by my name too.  Probably some of the best service anywhere.  I am not easily impressed but this was the real deal.  A place where everyone has been highly trained in customer service.  I ordered some coffee, Avocado Toast and somehow some Champagne got to my table.  Food and service were GREAT!

My Wife refuses to let us take her out on Mother's Day.  She hates the crowds and would rather stay at home.  Since she isn't a big breakfast eater, I decided to make two of her favorite things that she does like for breakfast.  She loves Croissants so I personalized one with Love written in Chocolate Fudge Sauce.  Made her Avocado Toast on buttered Brioche with Egg, Ham, Tomato, Shallots and Everything Bagel Seasoning.

After a few early morning hours at the office on a Saturday, I got home and made Avocado Toast with a Soft Boiled Egg.  I love this breakfast.  The "Everything" Bagel Seasoning really adds great flavor to the avocado.  While I overcooked my egg a bit, it still was delicious.

Made my Daughter and her girlfriend a little breakfast consisting of Avocado Toast, Kimchi Fried Rice and Egg.  I had this vision of stacking everything so I just tried it.  They both finished it all so I think they liked it.

After a six mile walk this morning I wanted to use an Avocado we had that was ripe.  Made a simple Avocado Toast sprinkled with Everything Bagel Seasoning and topped it with a Soft Boiled Egg.  The combination of the Egg, Yolk and Avocado is amazing.  Delicious and satisfying.  Added a little fresh Papaya with Cottage Cheese to the meal and this was just a perfect breakfast.

Mother's Day breakfast at home was delicious.  Avocado Toast with a Soft Boiled Egg.  I like my egg right on the toast so all of the yoke soaks into the bread.  My Daughter would rather dip.

Mother's Day weekend so I cooked up this little breakfast for my girls.  Avocado Toast, Drew's Fried Rice, Egg and some berries.  Love my gals so much!

Wanted to go out for a rare Sunday breakfast after participating in the Susan B. Komen 5K run.

Had the dog with us so options were limited.  Ended up at Panya Bistro because they have nice outdoor seating and allow dogs.  Breakfast here could be so much better.  Not all that great.  Service was good as always but the breakfast was just so so.  I went for the Avocado Toast ($13).  Not bad but just not enough flavor and I would prefer a nice piece of Toast over the Flatbread.  My Wife ordered the Mini Loco Moco ($13) and it came deconstructed.  Now who in the world wants a mini Loco Moco that you have to build yourself?  When you go for a Loco Moco you want a big meat patty on top of rice with tons of gravy.  Thats why you order a Loco Moco.  This dish totally missed the mark in my book.  I saw a bunch of Mimosa's going to a table so I ordered one without the Orange Juice.  Mistake...the champagne was terrible.  No wonder it was only $6.  Hey I am still a fan of Panya but just not for breakfast.

Woke up hungry at the Four Seasons Resort in Ko'olina and headed downstairs to La Hiki Kitchen which overlooks the pool and lagoon.  I remember seeing Michele Wie post a photo of the Avocado Toast here so I ordered it up.  Kind of blown away with the price at $31.  $31 for a piece of toast with Avocado on it.  Holy crap I thought this better be good.  It was good but not worth the $31.
