When I ran an AI question of the best places to visit between Pittsburgh, PA and a resort called Nemacolin in Pennsylvania, I was surprised to see two homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright on the brief list. Falling Water and Kentuck Knob were on the list so we decided to stop at Fallingwater. After seeing Fallingwater and being blown away, we made our way to Kentuck Knob which unfortunately was closed due to a storm knocking out the power.
Falling Water was a complete joy and definitely left its mark on me and my wife. In a nutshell, we were blown away by the beauty. Something I cannot describe but something that left lasting images in my mind. The design is flawless and seems as if it had to be here. DEFINITELY worth stopping and paying the $20 entree fee. We did not have an advanced reservation so we could not tour the inside of the house and guest quarters. We were able to walk onto the terraces and see into several rooms.
