Loved the look, decor, ambiance, food and service at Yohei Sushi Kahala. Thought it was a bit expensive but everything in Hawaii is now days.

Attended a function at our local television station KHON2 and enjoyed the absolute best Lau Lau of my life from Young's Fish Market. This was so good, and I don't really like Lau Lau.

Dinner again at one of my all time fave Hawaii restaurants. Didn't take many pictures of the food this time, but we enjoyed all of our favorites; Fried Rice, Pork Chops, Garlic Chicken, Poke, Steamed Fish, Farmers Salad and more. This time we hosted our Cooling Cancer team who is working on putting on Hawaii's best golf tournament on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Hoakalei Country Club. Getting a Chipotle urge so I made my own version of a Beef Burrito on a low carb tortilla.

Seasoned Beef, Black Beans, Corn, Onions, Cilantro, Jalapeños and Taco Sauce.

This was amazing delicious!

Loved our Japan trip and all the food but the thought of a Crunchy Taco was always in the back of my head. Got back to Hawaii and just had to enjoy my fave Crunchy Beef Tacos with Guacamole. Low carb tortillas of course!

My Wife loved eating Japanese Egg Salad Sandwiches in Japan. She came home and made her version using Japanese Milk Bread and Japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise. Tasted great!

After some time in Japan eating everything under the sun, we returned to Hawaii with a few extra pounds. Decided to get back on the low carb lifestyle. Dinner consisted of Avocado, Egg and some Everything but the Bagel seasoning. Mixed it up the next night with Avocado, Egg, Cream Cheese and Salsa. Did another one with Avocado and a can of Tuna. Delicious!

ASIANA AIRLINES - SEOUL TO HONOLULU

Asiana Airlines Business Class from Seoul to Honolulu is definitely a step up from Hawaiian Airlines. The service, food and wine are superior to Hawaiian. Cannot figure out why Hawaiian cannot up their game in Business Class to compete with the Asian and other International carriers. On this flight I had one of the best meals of my life on an airplane. The Tenderloin of Beef with Truffle Sauce was amazing. A steak on a plane that was actually cooked to a perfect medium rare and full of flavor. Not dry and hard. Loved it! Also liked the Cheese Platter which I have actually been charged for in First Class on Hawaiian Airlines.

Service was excellent with the Flight Attendants serving the customers and not sitting in the galley talking. Glasses were always filled and water was always available without asking.

Definitely flying Asiana Airlines again!
