While there is no river rafting at the Nemacolin resort, our reservations were made through the hotel and we were picked up by a local tour company that specializes in River Rafting on the Ohiopyle River. The guides were young, enthusiastic and sometimes entertaining. Oh...to be in my early twenties again and living like these kids. The rafting was incredible and much more work with paddling and carrying the raft than I expected. Worth it though because this was something that I will always remember. Scared at times but the guides kept everyone safe. An adrenaline rush for sure and so peaceful when you are just coasting down the river.
