17 years ago we dined at The Monocle in Washington, DC and when I saw it was just steps to the train station we decided to stop in again.  Enjoyed a nice Crab Cake with a delicious Sauvignon Blanc.  Bartender was nice and it was a joy to get out of the heat and into some air conditioned comfort.
