The Tick Tock Diner was Stop #2 on my personal New Jersey Food Tour. This was on my list for the Taylor Ham Sandwich. Arrived and were seated and given menus. I didn't see the sandwich on the menu so I asked the waitress for the famous Taylor Ham. She immediately said it was "The Jagger" and that Mick Jagger ate one here. She also recommended the Disco Fries with it. Now I am not a big breakfast sandwich fan and really never order them. This one however made me a fan. One bite and I was thinking "holy shit this is good". Another bite and "wow..this is good". The ham makes the sandwich and the bread comes in second. Probably the best breakfast sandwich of my life. The Disco Fries are good and I loved the gravy. I checked out the dessert display and fell in love with the Chocolate Mousse Cake and Chocolate Cake. I ordered one of each. The waitress went to the display and looked over all the cakes and pies. She returned and said the Mousse Cake was not fresh and recommended just the Chocolate Cake. The cake was amazing and oh so chocolatey. Really liked this place and our waitress who was very, very nice.
