We enjoyed our last stay at the Fairmont Breakers in Long Beach with the exception of a foul smell on the pillows and sheets. Thought it was odd and did not report it to management. Booked another stay here for two stays while arriving and departing from the Long Beach airport. First stay we had a room facing the ocean and there was no smell. Our second stay we had a room facing Ocean Blvd which is what we had during our first stay with the smell. To our surprise, the smell was back so this time I reported it to management. They told me they would report this to housekeeping and that was the end of it. Never heard another word. Love this hotel and the friendly staff, restaurant, bar and the Sky Room. My Wife said she does not want to stay here again if the smell is present in the room.
