Loved my experience with nearly 50,000 St. Louis Cardinals baseball fans at Busch Stadium.  Wow...these fans are the real deal.  They live and party hard for their World Champions.  Seemed like everyone was wearing some type of Cardinals shirt, jacket or hat.  We were lucky to have access to the Champions Club.  This all inclusive ticket allows you access to a large sky box with several open bars and a buffet of food selections.  Check out the video at the bottom of this blog.

Enjoyed a really nice stay at the Westin St. Louis.  The hotel is located directly across the street from Busch Stadium so seeing a baseball game means just walking across the street.  The place is so close that the visiting Milwaukee Brewers players were staying at the hotel along with lots of media people.  While the concierge desk was never occupied, the front desk helped out with directions and restaurant suggestions.  Staff was friendly.  The bellman was great.  Allowed us to store our bags for entire day after checkout.  When I returned they also let me take a shower and clean up at the health club even though I was checked out hours ago.  Really like the rooms here.  Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom.  The hotel is walking distance to the Arch and downtown.

Cashed in some miles for upgrade on American S-80 from Los Angeles to St. Louis.  Great service and meal.  No complaints.  Good bit of legroom and enough space to place my backpack under the seat in front of me.
