Wow....my wife can make a mean Massaman Curry with Chicken.  This was as good or better than any restaurant I have been to in Hawaii or the mainland.

I love Yi Xin Cafe.  Food and service here are excellent and it could be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Honolulu.

Who needs to go out to a fancy Steak House and spend hundreds of dollars when my wife can cook a perfect steak dinner for two for under $40.  This steak rocked and was so satisfying!

This is one of my all-time favorite home cooked meals and when our friends bring us fresh Wild Salmon from Alaska it is even better.  Cannot wait for their next fishing trip because this is the last of their last catch.

It's nice to have a package of Kirkland Beef Lasagna in the fridge. A good inexpensive go to dinner when you don't have the time and energy to cook.  Pretty good flavor but a bit dense with a lot of pasta.  Wish there was more sauce, beef and maybe some sausage.

LUNCH IN WAIPAHU

I have not been to an Arby's in probably over a decade or more.  I do however have found memories of when our family would load up in the station wagon and go to Arby's for what at the time was a pretty inexpensive dinner at under $1.  I always enjoyed the Classic Roast Beef Sandwich with BBQ and Horsey Sauces.  Going back now that is what I wanted and it did bring back the memories.  I was surprised that the sandwich still tasted pretty much the same and liked it.  Also tried their Angus Cheesesteak which was a huge disappointment.

Building a new showroom and warehouse on Kauai and there is no time to go out for lunch.  Brought in some Mariachi's Mexican Food from Door Dash.  Loved the Crunchy Beef Taco and Chicken Enchilada with Beans and Rice.  Surprised how good their Beans and Rice is and their hot sauce packs some serious heat.  I like Mariachi's and will be a regular here as I spend more time on Kauai.

Shrimp Tempura Tacos are one of my favorite types of Tacos.  I make a White Sauce with Mayonnaise, Yogurt and Lime Juice that kicks up the flavor along with Cabbage, Cheese, Pico de Gallo and topping of Cotija Cheese.

We were so tired after a two week trip to the mainland that our Father's Day Brunch was a bit of a blur.  Food, service and view were fantastic but we were not that hungry and just wanted to be home with our dog.  I ate a bit of Sashimi, Poke, Crab and Prime Rib and was done.  Really didn't get to enjoy the other couple of great looking dishes being served.  Loved it though and am very blessed to have a great meal like this at the best table in the restaurant.
