GINZA STEAK - TOKYO, JAPAN

Last year we had lunch at Ginza Steak and we all declared that it was one of the best meals of our lives. The same four of us went again this year for dinner. Once again the meal was delicious, but this time things just a little bit different. The meat wasn't as thick and glowing, the Abalone was not alive and the flavors were not has powerful. On this visit the Wagyu was over salted and the meat did not have the wow factor as before. Believe me though it was good. The Abalone on this visit was covered in a Seaweed Sauce that totally overpowered the taste of the Abalone. I hated it. The Foie Gras was perfect and the portions were large. Amazing that this is all you can eat, but none of us were able to eat more than the first round of meats. This meal is $US150 per person but still worth it.

GINZA STEAK - JAPAN

This was one of the top five meals of my life if not the best meal of my life. Incredible dining experience with the best steak ever. Enjoyed both the white and red wines with our meal and they did make a difference in the experience. The crazy thing is that this is an All you Can Eat restaurant serving the highest grade of A5 Wagyu. After your four meat courses you can order more if you are still hungry. We all pretty much hit the wall with the normal courses and found no need to request more. This beef melts in your mouth and it is full of rich flavor that is not masked with seasoning or sauces. Simple quality beef prepared to perfection. Everything about this meal was perfect. Everything tasted incredible. Does not get much better than this and I cannot wait to return to enjoy this experience again. Wow!!!!

UPDATE 2025: Back here twice and the quality, quantity and experience has gone down hill.

Would not recommend at this time based on latest experiences.
