Enjoyed the flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas.  While the food disappointed as usual, this flight had a very nice crew that actually seemed to care about their customers.  Refreshing!

The unexpected ending to the flight (video below) was fantastic and something Hawaiian Airlines should do more often to change up their game.

Comfortable ride with great service on this flight to Las Vegas.  Flight Attendants were really nice and the breakfast was actually eatable.  Keep improving Hawaiian Air.  You can do it!

Just when I thought the food on Hawaiian Airlines could not get worse, they come up with a Cabbage and Potato Hash Patties with Kalua Pork.  Problem is that the potatoes contained no pork.  There were maybe two small strands like dental floss and that's it.  Potatoes and cabbage were not seasoned.  I poured ketchup and Tabasco on the things to give them some taste.

It is high time for Hawaiian Airlines to make a change in their First Class food service.  Every single person I talk to says the same thing.  "Hawaiian Air food sucks".  Service is hit or miss with sometimes getting a great Flight Attendant that understands customer service and does more than the minimum.  Most cases they just go through the motions with minimal service and stay in the galley and play on their phones and talk.

Hawaiian Airlines First Class fares from Honolulu to Las Vegas during our dates was astronomical and there was no way I was going to pay that amount of money for a five hour flight.  Opted for Coach Extra Comfort and got on the list to be upgraded using the many vouchers that I have earned.  Well, didn't get the bump to first so we settled for Coach.  

No comparison from the Lay Flat seats up front and the food sucked.  The Ham and Cheese Sandwich was terrible and had very little inside the bread.  Not worth eating. Didn't bother purchasing any drinks and just went for the water.

Took the red eye from Honolulu to Las Vegas.  The flight leaves like at 10pm and arrives in Las Vegas around 10am.  I planned ahead and scheduled an early check in at my hotel.  Don't remember much about the flight because I fell asleep until about one hour before we landed.

I call that a great flight!

Working on building up my miles with Hawaiian so I can earn more upgrades.  This flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas was fantastic.  Great crew that instead of hiding in the galley got out and actually provided great service to the guests.  Didn't quite understand the food though. A huge pile of Hash Browns and one piece of Sausage.  Putting the bitter greens on top of the Potatoes didn't make sense either.  Enjoyed the wine, movie and woke up in Las Vegas feeling pretty good.  Update:  Flight back had the absolute best service ever on a Hawaiian Airlines flight.  Two male Flight Attendants elevated service to a level rarely experienced on Hawaiian.  They actually called each guest by name, kept drinks filled and did not hide out in the galley and talk.  Exceptional service in every way.

FIRST CLASS SERVICE

Flying to Las Vegas on Hawaiian Airlines is very comfortable in First Class.  The lie down seats are nice but the service just does not compare to other international airlines.  Breakfast was a bit of question mark with Mushrooms, Olive Tempanade and Chickpea Cake?

Scored an upgrade on Hawaiian Airlines to fly First Class from Honolulu to Las Vegas.  While the service going over to Las Vegas was not too good the service coming back was exceptional.  Food on both flights was really good.  The Loco Moco coming back was amazing!
