My Wife made sure we tried Tony's Pizza Napoletana when visiting San Francisco. She did her research and said this was the best pizza in the city. The Owner, Tony Gemignani is a 13-time World Pizza Champion so I was eager to try it too. We arrived after the lunch rush to find tables available outside and inside. We took a table outside in the sun and quickly decided on ordering the World Champion Margarita Pizza and the Las Vegas Champion New Yorker. As an appetizer we ordered the Squash Blossoms stuffed with cheese. The Blossoms were delicious. Both the breading and the cheese were light. The Margarita Pizza looked amazing with the charred edges and bottom. Flavor was excellent but the pizza was really thin and limp. This would have perfect if the crust would have been a little crunchier. The New Yorker was pizza perfection. The crust, sauce and toppings were all delicious. Loved the crust and sauce. One of the best pizzas ever.
